Love the avalanche awareness and that it is part of your clinics. Believe me, your prospective changes after you lose loved ones in slides. I’ve lost two over the last four years and been buried myself twice (before avalanche training and today’s gear really became mainstream). You can never have enough knowledge, preparedness and awareness when it comes to slides. I find myself being much more aware now days, especially after the training. Just having a bag, prove and beacon on you isn’t even close to enough. I bet half the riders out there dont even know how to operate their beacon properly. I sure hate to say it should be mandatory because it is certainly an Individual choice, but I won’t ride with anyone who isn’t prepared. However, I think dealers and manufacturers should have incentives for receiving avalanche training.
I’m still learning my 2022 matryx khaos 155 850. Been twice. After watching your videos I finally learned about the counter steer to get your sleds angle correct before you commit to the turn. Can’t just sit on it and turn like sleds from my childhood. There’s definitely a different way to ride this, but it makes it so much more fun once you understand that. Appreciate you man 👍

I have a question for Brett Turcotte was that you in the sled farm rising the film trying that front flip and the machine landed on you and you were helicopter out. If it was I hope ur ok that looked crazy anyway take care. I hope to ride with you one day.

@turcotte16 the best Murino apparel is found in Kelowna at the Army surplus store. Albert is a hoot to talk to as well. Many good stories. The guy is 10/10. Worth a look. 90%Murino by Stanfield, their top of the line base layers. Hard to find but worth the dough.
