We're an Alt-E customer gone off grid Shed to House Tiny home, 100% solar user, Gardening, animal husbandry and soon rainwater system user. We're now starting to make video's on testing out different types of small typical systems as everyone on our neck of the woods are Alternate off grid energy users. We've installed 3 small solar setups with donations from the neighborhood to help others out reusing what they had and what we could DIY for them to improve their systems in this life style. So far so good. The Components we purchased for our build is all alt-e and is on its 5th year use. So far so good. Keeping an eye on the Outback FM80 as year 6 and 7 creep up. Fact nothing can last forever but its doing its job like a power horse to run the Fridge, PCs, microwave, 10k AC ect. The 6k Aims unit was from Alt-E as well. Same open box unit purchased by David Poz as we bought it off him as he upgraded ect.

It would be nice if you start with a quick overview of what you are using to power everything. I know you have a link, but I'm watching the video and I have no idea what the presenter is even plugging things into.

Can Look up the battery voltage. Then divide the total power wattage Load by volts should give amps. Amps if continuous is then divided into the Amp Hour total of the battery. Mostly the the 5k ac will be on drawing less then 8 amps around 6 ish? This should run all night as the ac cycles. Assuming the suns shining and you have max PV angled right your not even touching the batteries as they continue to charge up. Super nice system. Ecolite seems to be the smallest unit so 4.2kWh in 12v is about 335 amp hours / 24v it's almost 170 amp hours ect... can run a 5k AC all day on solar panel power and you'd swap to box fans at night once your cabin is cooled down. Bigger unit will give you way more freedom for a little more money. We have a DIY install 13kWh which is similar to their bigger unit of 10KWh. This would run a fully set up tiny home easy. Led lighting, 8k window AC full power day time and cycling at night + a smaller energy star type fridge unit + phones laptop easy. We have 4,800w solar array 48v that makes 1,500w in winter (average power made 4 to 6Kwh) to 3800 watts in summer ( average power made 8 to 14kWh). Battery would need a generator if its over cast all day and use 1 gallon fuel to get it to 65% full to get to the next sunny day if needed.

It must have a transformer in inverter
