- Halo Infinite Season 2 is out and it features a mini Battle Royale style mode called Last Spartan Standing. I streamed it on release. This is the first victory I achieved in the mode!

Really liking the mode, gives me some hope if this Certain Affinity gamemode is actually BR, it'll be implemented well.

man, banished structures in sand environments look sick, hoping for environmental variety in campaign dlcs, no other halo ring has just had 1 biome

This map is on a planet not a halo
This new BTB map gives Burial Mounds vibes from Halo 2 with it being a very dry, orange-tinted map with metal debris spread around, i love it

You felt like your shield is charging slower because everyone start with disruptors, which delay your shield recharge.
I feel the shield recharged just a hair slower as well. Great mode tho. They just gotta make the zone close in sooner

Kinda wish they kept it in the multiplayer menu but now it just in for custom game menu
They don’t recharge slower in the mode, he hit you with shock rounds which make your shields recharge slower :)

In my first games of LSS I was not having a good time as I am a lower skilled player compared to other Halo players. It took me about 15 games to get my first win. While I wasn't enjoying it at the time I now realize how much more fun and intense it is compared to the rest of Halo Infinite's content.
Yeah that's definitely the nature of a Battle Royale-esque game. High skill intensity!
@@Greenskull Indeed, I just hope that for the weekly ultimate challenge isn't "Win a LSS game". That would be too difficult for a lot of lesser skilled players

That's what I like about Last Spartan Standing. Either I'm losing my mind, or all the Halo people playing it now suddenly sound like this other dude, you know, that dude... Like that other dude... 😂
love the new map and mode. respawning in the danger zone toward the end of the match kinda sucks tho.
Do you think it should automatically make the last circle a sudden death round? Kind of weird spawning in the "storm".

and a closing circle. IMO a BR is a closing circle and limited lives. and scavenging. all of which occur here

this isnt true BR tho, there are like less than 20 people and you respawn a stupid amoutn of times
There is no true BR unless we are beholden to the very first ones ever. If this exact style of play was released as a game titled "Battle Royale" no one would bat an eye.
Some of my fav BRs have always had less than 20 players.
This isn't meant to be a BR though, if anything it's gun game mixed with elimination

This update made me uninstall the game. Last Spartan Standing sucks and the honey moon phase for the game has been long over, after getting all the achievements there is no more reason to torture myself continuing to play this garbage.
