I have the similar UL-8 - and the percussion is really strong on these too! :-) Lovely. :-) I am just struggeling a little with deep bass - because it boomes sometimes - but may be my stands too (they are not that high). Anyway, beautiful and lovely sounding speakers you got!
High up for extra treble lower to the floor for better bass is a fairly good rule of thumb.

@@glpilpi6209 You are totally right. In the mean time my UL-8 got complete new crossovers, new cables inside - got measured in - and now they sound heavenly on the stands. It was that the caps were through after 40 years ... ;-) Now they sound better than anything I heard below 5k. These classic celestions are big sleepers ... ;-)
Lovely , the old girls can still put in a good turn !. Imaginative mounting to bring out the top end on those stands .

HELLO sounds amazing !!!! Any DAC converter between ipad and amplifier?
I have the same speakers connected to a 60w audiolab 8000s and use a simple chromecast audio and they sound superb, if that helps.
