Just found it after geting to the Super Mario galaxy Themen because dude makes great Videos but dont use time stamps for his Video XD Damn that Video kicks
All of the music in this game is FANTASTIC but this one truly stuck out to me in the early stages of the game, it REALLY perfectly captures the macabre and hopeless theme of the game. Just repeatedly walking the same path over and over, unaware of your changing surroundings, lacking all of your memories but trudging on anyway into the darkness because you feel you must. AND NOW, Learning that it was called "Loop Blues" is just the icing on the cake. HATS OFF to you, Blinch, for this perfection~
Adding onto the fact that it ALSO perfectly captures how you feel on your first few runs, uncertain, wary, lacking the knowledge of your surroundings and what to do with all of the monsters, items, and cards you keep running into. Gosh I can't express well enough how good this is.
this song was literally the reason I bought the game, I was watching a streamer play and everytime this track came on I'd bop along so hard that I felt compelled to give the game a go myself
I think this is 16 bit if we really want to be pedantic, and most 'chiptune' is hyper cheerful to the point of being annoying; The grim tones also really make it stand out well against the others.
Back then before the release of full version and soundtrack. I open Loop Hero Demo in the background window and pause the game, because I want to listen to its amazing soundtrack while I working on something else. This song in particularly, is my favorite, chill but pumped.
Far and away my favorite track on an amazing ost. The use of counterpoint and descending chords is just perfect for a melancholic epic. This track let's me hum a harmony along with it and nothing sucks you in faster than providing a stage for you to join in. This piece just has so much soul.
this is the best soundtrack I ever heard in my life in this genre, if I close my eyes and listen to this in my headphones I get visions and feelings I can't describe or explain.. going to other times in the past and the future, travelling in space, fighting as a hero for an unknown army, its weird idk... goosebumps man
Of the expedition themes, this one's my favorite. Very much sounds like heavy footsteps on a long path wondering if it's worth taking another step, but a new step is taken one after the other.
Vastly underrated piece. By far my favorite. Fuck cosmic temperance this is where it's at. Even though I like both, this is blinch's finest work. Thank you blinch from the bottom of my heart for this amazing, soulful track.
Just want to step in here and say this has to be one of the best VG OSTs of all time. I can't stop listening to it and can't get it out of my head when I'm not. Magnificent.
I went back to this song again after so long... since the first time I played Loop Hero. I didn't even play the game that much anymore. Now I'm just doing stuff while this loops in the background, often for hours at a time. Thanks for such an enjoyable music.
Oh, this track has won my heart. Many of LH tracks are simply wonderful. Anamnesis of the World's Sin is a fantastic mixture of doom/gothicesque atmosphere. Pathloot Crusaders is great for it's juicy tremolo parts overlapping with those nice tritones. Empty Ocean... I mean, the metaphor itself, it's really damn symbolic since cosmic void is in fact an empty ocean. Some tracks like Alpha Waves are straight-forward dark ambient gems. But that Loop Blues, man. I have no idea if you wanted to make it that way (I hope so, cause that makes you double awesome) but this track is so clearly and nicely segmented in a way that it portraits a story. Segment 1 seems like a rhythmic part to show a hero venturing forth. It unfolds into segment 2 which gets more and more dynamic up until we get two lead tracks overlapping each other creating a type of amusing dramaticism. I really loved how lead 1 made the whole part dramatic, while lead 2 is rising up and down on the scale creating the dynamicism. Then it unwinds into segment 3. It's repetition gives pace to the whole story, making it sound like the hero is simply pacing through the fields of unknown. Then it gets back to segment 2. Another dramatic battle for life and death I guess. Then segment 4 comes in with it's nice legato lead mixed with variations of previous motifs. Then we get segment 5 which is an outro closing the whole track with a steady pacing.
Man what a track! .. such a banger I got the game just so I could hear more of what blinch has to offer...and boy does he have a lot! Thanks for the great Soundtrack.
As a "producer" myself (which ran out of inspiration), I admire your work so much, there's a song I heard in game and I'm searching for it. Love the OST, would love to hear more from you.
Nostalgia just hits me, reminding me of many old masterpieces ive played back in the days. Truly a testament to these old games. U nailed that feel right on the spot.
Loop hero on mobile now??? And I get to hear this legendary track that got me interested in the game in the first place? I'm living a dream of Desolation and rock.
Although I cannot overstate how much love I have for tracks like "Killer X Chase", as well as it's accompanying boss theme, "Star Hunter", or even tracks like "Lich is Unbreakable", this is by far my favourite on the track so far. I've yet to do ch4 and find the secret boss, but I'm sure if the rest of this soundtrack is anything to go by, it will properly blow my socks off. I wish you further success in the future, and I hope you keep busting out bangers.
I love how the song captures the feeling of a neverending march so well. Tired, but every hurting step is made with purpose. You rest for a while, gazing upon the road left behind, the road still ahead. and resolve to keep marching on.
Oooo this shit sounds AWESOME. Like a gothic style 8-bit ost. I imagine this this what the FTL soundtrack would sound like of it was set in warhammer 40k lol
Not heard of this game but heard this in Tier Zoo’s Scorpion video and loved it. Might be building an Elden Ring invasion playlist around it now ^_^ Fine work.
I feel like this game is suddenly going to blow up in like a year and become very popular and get the vampire survivors treatment, and there's gonna be a lot of covers and remixes of these songs that people still keep coming back to after decades.
This whole OST has become instant legend.
idk why but it sonewhat reminds me of Axiom Verge and weirdly enough, Metroid
agreed
Facts
Why is every song in this soundtrack a fucking banger ?
Cause you're intended to listen to them on a loop.
Why's every song on this OST a jojo reference?
I'm still speechless, this is among the best 8-bit videogame OSTs in the whole decade, not even exaggerating
This song managed to wrap up two rather opposing emotions of desolation and determination
This is beyond amazing, such a perfect track.
Tierzoo used this in his scorpion video and my god is this a great song. I gotta check out the rest of the OST.
Tierzoo is cool
@@BlinChik116 such a chill song
Now I must watch it
I heard it from there. It’s a great song. ❤️
Just found it after geting to the Super Mario galaxy Themen because dude makes great Videos but dont use time stamps for his Video XD

Everytime this plays in game my mind just says "finally, this one" my fav one without a doubt, the other ones are really good too.

You explained my thoughts about this track almost to the letter. This track definitely fits perfect with the game's theme and art style.
Yeah it's got a really oppressive, melancholy marching beat going on on top of being really catchy.
; ) so true, just feel this perfection
this song was literally the reason I bought the game, I was watching a streamer play and everytime this track came on I'd bop along so hard that I felt compelled to give the game a go myself
8Bit music should not slap this hard, but I fucks with it hella hard.
I think this is 16 bit if we really want to be pedantic, and most 'chiptune' is hyper cheerful to the point of being annoying; The grim tones also really make it stand out well against the others.
Теперь можно ещё один месяц подряд слушать её в голове.
This game is only a few days old and it's already a classic. What a good soundtrack
That's Devolver Digital for ye! Always -making- publishing unique games. :D
@@AcousticOlli I mean... what he said is correct. Devolver always PUBLISHES good games, as in they have a knack for finding good indie devs.
@@AcousticOlli I see, it's kind of annoying how youtube doesnt show when a comment was edited.

chill but pumped is the perfect description for this song
step 1: load this video
step 2: put it on loop
step 3: ???
step 4: profit
Blinch, the secret Boss. I found you!

This evokes nostalgia for something I can't quite remember... something I have lost along the way...
How poetic for a game like this. I feel the same way.
Мой самый любимый соундрек за игру после темы Лича у меня в игре уже 600 часов и не надоело тк круто открывать всё новые синергии карт и секреты это кайф
One of the few games I actually bought the OST for, great job bud.
this is the best soundtrack I ever heard in my life in this genre, if I close my eyes and listen to this in my headphones I get visions and feelings I can't describe or explain..

You know this song is powerful when you can feel those emotions.
Check out the Dungeon Synth Genre, Kobold, Gnoll or Quest Master could be to your liking.
This would convert beautifully over to a live orchestra with a violin, piano or guitar owning the melody. I hope people do covers of this track.
ua-cam.com/video/dwmGE86N2K0/v-deo.html not an orchestra but the guitar is there :)
Of the expedition themes, this one's my favorite. Very much sounds like heavy footsteps on a long path wondering if it's worth taking another step, but a new step is taken one after the other.
i can totally hear that especially at 2:43

I remember been playing Loop Hero for the first time and saying "DAAAAAAAAAAMN!" when this song came.
This proves gaming and music are infinite

That one very special for me
this track has the best riff out of all of them
Man what a track! .. such a banger I got the game just so I could hear more of what blinch has to offer...and boy does he have a lot!
Thanks for the great Soundtrack.
Blinch?
Its your german friends from Hots
Love this stuff ... what a great job 👏👌
It's my new ost for work 😄
Masterpiece bro 💜
Masterpiece.
As a "producer" myself (which ran out of inspiration), I admire your work so much, there's a song I heard in game and I'm searching for it. Love the OST, would love to hear more from you.
This is the best song in the game.
I have this stuck in my head for like 4 days now
One of the sickest Chipp tunes I've ever heard in my life!
Nostalgia just hits me, reminding me of many old masterpieces ive played back in the days. Truly a testament to these old games. U nailed that feel right on the spot.

the night is dark and unforgiving...
My head starts bobbing every time I hear this one.

Как же душевно пиликает...
I'm listening to this all day, grooving along whilst working. It's also the main reason I tried Loop Hero in the first place

never payed the game but this track is fantastic
Gives me shivers every time. Whole OST is damn amazing and this is cherry on top.
Hey blinch good stuff. Bought the ost on steam, hoping you get a cut. You deserve it.
I've played this game so much, it almost doesn't sound right without fighting in the background. lol
Good going blinch, these are all jams.
I've been waiting for this release since the trailer. Pure fire.
Absolute Banger
This is such a good song... it truly moves something inside of me
0:55 - Sounds like Requiem for a Dream
this is just brilliant
Lots of bangers on this soundtrack, but this one gives me the goosebumps.
I love how the song captures the feeling of a neverending march so well.
Tired, but every hurting step is made with purpose. You rest for a while, gazing upon the road left behind, the road still ahead. and resolve to keep marching on.
I love this track, there is something about it that reminds me of the main theme from requiem for a dream
Despair.
Hope.
Struggle.
Despair.
Hope.
Struggle...
This feels more like the music you'd hear in an old movie rather than an old game and I love it.
This track relaxes me.
The entire ost has a very 80s feel to it.
Not surprising considering what time it's trying to emulate, the early NES games/RPG's.
LEGENDARY TRACKS!
this one is my absolute fav in this amazing ost
This is my favorite track, the song represents the game perfectly
feels good to hit 'loop' for this youtube video :D
Incredible old demoscene/keygen vibe.
My favorite song with those sobering drums
This is my favorite track
Amazing soundtrack and an amazing game
This is such a great song man
love this game soo much. and the music is great!!!!!!
Love it!
Great song!!
This is so good
Oooo this shit sounds AWESOME. Like a gothic style 8-bit ost. I imagine this this what the FTL soundtrack would sound like of it was set in warhammer 40k lol
Any chance of this making it to Spotify in the US? The whole OST is God Tier @blinch
Not heard of this game but heard this in Tier Zoo’s Scorpion video and loved it. Might be building an Elden Ring invasion playlist around it now ^_^ Fine work.
A somber hope...
C'est un pure chef d’œuvre.
Reminds me of megaman 9 and 10’s soundtrack maybe fits a bossrush room
Definitely my favorite
This is the one. Thank you Blinch
My favorite one so far.
One of the best ost i ever heard...
God tier
So good

Wish granted. It’s now on game pass so it’s gonna blow up
this goes hard
1:49 is so fucking good
Damn straight, the face I make is ridiculous but I just don’t care.
it sounds like the bugsnax town theme
dude ur songs are the fucking best thing in this life
I really love this one and the pre-boss theme (cósmic temperance)
PD: blinch youre a genius! A heavenly genius!! :')
its like seeing the light but can't reach it- but i will reach it later.
This song perfectly encaptures my life and death.
Every track is a fucking banger.
This is beyond amazing, fuckin' flawless!
Amazing
pleasure
Best song of the OST. But they' re all good!
Thanks Lobos
This music is so fucking great, dude i need different versions of these songs remixes etc. day one purchase for me if you release this on cd
I gotta research some Greek Fire now.
