- I believe this watch represents one of the best values in the watch industry for a dive watch and it costs under $200. It's made by a well-known watch manufacturer and features an inhouse workhorse movement.

There were many comments recently added to this video are apparently from a scammer who trying to get an unfair advantage to win the watch. I will do my best to disregard any suspicious comments when I choose the winner. UA-cam automatically removed any apparent duplicate subscribers from my channel and obviously, if I choose a winner who is not a public subscriber, I will choose another winner until I find one who is.
the kamasu is indeed a great budget watch. it's not too sporty, nor too dressy, you can wear it on dressier occasions, with casual clothing and also has enough WR to manage sporty and water activities too.. and the lume looks very good. my dad used to have an orient when i was a kid i think but it disappeared at one point.. orient is always a great choice and i love that logo, i don't know why people hate it..

Such a great looking watch and fantastic value. I have been following Orient since they made such a splash with the Bambino a few years back, their line has exploded with so many amazing options now I just wouldn't know where to start.

[ I find it a bit strange that a channel has just so few number of subs despite a neat content. Guess this is one of those underrated YT gems - similar to the Tudor You reviewed just recently ]
P.S. Orient ticks many boxes - yet as wit all 2020+ diver/desk diver models - I look forward to "mid-size" versions - 38 mil.
For a proper dive watch 42-45 mil watch size is OK, but for a bit dressy watch - it needs to fit under the cuff/sleeve.. :)

I love me some Kamasu Blue... I have the red version. I must say it's one of my favorites in my collection!
A great overall watch for all occasions. I like Japanese made movement. They keep accurate time. This would be a great watch to start a collection with. Keep the reviews coming. I find them very informative. I do like the automatic watches.

I have loved my ray raven since I got it about 5 years ago. I also have an orient square case auto that’s what I use as a dress watch. Been eyeing the Kamasu actually.

The bezel smooths out after a half dozen times using it. Orient and Seiko is all I need. Casio is a great value to.

Orient is legit. They’re well respected between watch enthusiasts. Been around since the early 1950s.
Personally, I find the blue dial absolutely stunning.

already I have 12 Orients in collection (automatic) and one as toolwatch (quartz)
all of them are briliant and I really love each one for kind of perfection.. unfortunately straps and bracelets are really bad quality and I'm changing them almost always just after I get watch in my hands.. and now I have ostrich, crocodile and few other leather straps.. and great bracelets from strapcode..

Orient is a very good brand,desrve to be more apreciate for watch collector,they have reputation to be poor asian watch,but for me is the same than seiko or citizen...but they need to find an iconic model like citizen with the tsuyosa

Can you explain the difference in watch quality/functions and price between the RA-AA0001B19A (black) vs. RA-AA0001B19B (black). The model ending in "A" is $40 more expensive than "B", and is the one you are linking on Amazon. Other known watch shops sell the "B", as does Amazon. Orient says "B" is not authorized for distribution in the US. Why is this not detailed anywhere? Is there any qualitative difference between the two? Thanks!

would you get this Orient Kamasu/Mako III Automatic or Spinnaker Cahill 300 Oxford Blue? The Spinnaker seems to have a bit more interesting background and it's 300 instead of 200 M. But the Orient has a 3 years warranty instead of 2 for the Spinnaker. Both have sapphire crystal glass and are very similarly priced in my country.
