Someone at teamsport Newcastle did the same thing in the first downhill hairpin but didn’t even turn and just went head on into the barrier flat out 😂🤦♂️
I'm at a 41.6 pb, this track can be quite tricky and also errors kinda compound each other cause you're nearly always on a corner so get 1 corner wrong it'll carry over into the next couple of corners
@@kylewilliams4398 was it busy on track? If it's busy at cov you'll always be coming up on traffic so you may only get 1 or 2 laps for the whole session to get a good time in, so if it's busy it may be best to back off a little and create a good gap in front of you that will be enough to get a flying lap in but then you run the risk of having yellow flags ruining that lap so it's a gamble really, how often have you been to cov?
@@LearnToRace there where 15 people on the track I live in Coventry but this was my first time karting since I was about 11 I’m 21 now so experience on track is nothing but I’m used to ragging my car about so I ain’t too bad 😂
@@ItsKyleW practice, practice and more practice, speak with some of the staff there they could give you pointers, I can't really help you cause I'm only 0.1 quicker than you
@@ItsKyleW yeah I know what you mean, I haven't been there for a while now but when I was last there the karts were pretty old and battered, so if they haven't changed them they could do with it by now
42.2 with a flat tyre, i dont believe that for 1 second, my fastest with 12 years experience racing is a 42,3 my fastest on that track with a flat tyre 46.8.
sorry that 42.2 wasnt from this evening, it was my previous PB around the track but from a different evening, my fastest time with that flat tyre was 43.0 but i dont know if it was flat for the whole session or not but it must have been low

I think some people assume cause it's go karts you can go flat out everywhere with no brakes haha
Yea I saw that it was crazy but they changed the layout and the hairpins are gone so you can do it flat
I think im still on there with 49 secs for the cadet karts

My pb round here has me currently sat 42nd, its a very tricky lap to dial in 100% for a perfect lap
