Oh my god where I am in England we don't have art stores at all like that, we have one art store near me that is literally tiny, it's literally all I have of good quality stuff near me the rest is from the Internet
+Rachel Wilkinson i know the feeling, the best thing we have in newcastle is the little shop in newcastle art centre and it's all way too expensive with me being a student. hobbycraft is just over the tyne and it's alright but obviously it's more for crafting, there's not exactly a grand selection of markers... england needs to step up its game hahaha
Ugh! Ikr? We don't even have tiny art stores where I am I either have to make a 30 minute journey to HobbyCraft or nothing :( and the annoying thing is these art stores know how uncommon it is for us to find the supplies they have so they overcharge us for them 😒
Same - I'm in i'm in a state called Victoria in south-east Australia, 90+ percent of my stuff has come from the Internet, mostly Amazone! I think I would pass out if I even saw Copic markers in a shop!
+Faith Bennett i live in wallsend so not far from newcastle, it's either you buy expensive artist quality things from this one tiny shop on westgate road or you go to hobbycraft for okay-ish paints and pens that are more suited to crafters, it's a pain in the butt 😒
Thank goodness for your video! The past few days have been rough on me with my computer completely dying but watching your vlog and kitties running around instantly put me in better mood :-) There are several qualities I like about you and one of them is that you do not follow the mass but stick to your preferences ^^ I prefer background music in my videos but completely understand how no music videos can be more appealing to others. Btw, I totally ooh aaaah-ed when seeing all the markers. I have no professional art stores near by so I love to live vicariously through others :-)
Baylee, can you please do a video on how you print your print or like the process? I am thinking of opening my own online store but I don't get how to make prints. You have inspired me so much. Thanks so much for making videos.
Hatsune Miku Snbonzakura cover playing in the Dollar Store and I live in the Philippines wish there was all the markers too!!! But I finally found a 12 marker set and a 36 set but the 36 one was too expensive so I just got the 12 marker set!
+MheeMaye09 I did found Copic Sketch markers and I am 12 but the 12 set marker is Php 3 900 I think but I got them at Glorietta in the 3rd floor, National Bookstore hopefully this helps the 36 set is Php10 000+
The enchanted forest books are amazing! I have all three of her colouring books, been wanting to get the postcard books too! Her art work is amazing I love them so much. Also for the soundproofing you could google some DIY projects to sound proof the spare room, it might give you some better ideas other than blankets up on the wall.
A neutral gray is always a good option for unboxing videos. It acts similar to white, drawing the eye to whatever you are unboxing, but isn't distracting like a bright yellow or something. If you want variety pastel colors would be a cool thing to look into, they would be soft but you could coordinate them to whatever video you are doing.
For SOUNDPROOFING, I bought convoluted bed topper foam pads at Target (Walmart probably has them too) and hung them up on the walls (I was trying to reduce the echo for making my own recording studio). They are pretty cheap, I think they were like $20 or less, and come in different sizes--twin on up. Good luck!
In utrecht (the netherlands) theres a good art shop in the city called Swaak , but its quite tiney. they have lots of stuff tough. Im gonna be spending my birthday there lol. 200 euros worth of ART STUFF
Hello again. One thing you could do for your tablecloth situation is use paper backdrops. I know at a local camera shop, but a really big roll is $35, and they have every color you can think of. I'm sure amazon has some similar. That way you can get the solid color you want, and it can easily be tacked to your wall/taped onto your table, and if it gets messed up, you can just unroll some more.
Hey Baylee! I suugest a few things I searched up for soundproofing walls ; 1- You can add thick drapes/blankets to the walls 2- Mass helps alot in blocking out sound so add anything thick to the walls for example a bookcase with multiple books 3- You can even buy from the hardware store some cheap insulators (im not sure what they are called 😊) that have a thick sponge like substance on one side and an adhesive side that are usually used to block and wind and sand I guess fom enetering the room/house by sticking them onto the edges of doors and sometimes windows. These are just a few simple suggestions that you can use ! Im positive they would help! 😄
Do you have curtains up in your spare room? I might only be a teensy bit of difference but I always notice whenever I take curtains down in a room it gets surprisingly echo-y so depending on if you have a curtain rail up you could use maybe that could help?
as sound dampening my mom uses big fluffy mats for the piano room to counteract the echo and you could find cute cheap fluffy fur-type mats for the foor and/or walls? or more blankets and cushions on the bed.
Man, that art store looks amazing! Oh, and you can try (somehow) making some stand around the table and drooping a big cloth onto it. I'm not very helpful. Lol.
you could just buy a cheap sound proof echo thing at any music store and just put it around your camera set area because tiffyquake have a pretty nice big one that folds out in a way
Thank you so much for doing the giveaway and giving back to your supporters. It is really nice when someone appreciates their subscribers and gives back, it really shows they care. I love your art and channel!
You know on this called Ebates you can get half off coupons for micheals or just coupons and deals in general for any store of your choosing and not only that but for every order you make through them you get cash back! Personally i love it since i’m a avid online shopper but you can also use it for in-store shopping.
Hi. Once I start my channel, I was going to do a quick video on a subject you touched on in this video. It is on exposure. Basically, all cameras expose for middle gray (18% gray). When the camera is exposing a scene, it is taking it all in and then averaging it out and forcing it to be middle gray. When you add the white background, it is factoring in all the white and darkening the exposure. The opposite happens when you put a black background. You can avoid this by going into manual mode and setting it or by using a mid-tone for the background. That is why when you move a camera from looking at a scene to pointing to the sky, it goes from white to blue but when you bring it from a scene into a shadow, it goes from dark to bright(er). Hope this helped!
man, I wish we had any stores in WV that sells markers. Jo Ann fabrics had a few 6 packs of the spectrum noir, and our Michaels had no markers whatsoever :( I'm so jealous...
Omg that store is awesome!! I live in CT IN THE US AND WE DONT HAVE ANY STORES that I know if with markers like that there may be copic packs but there locked away super expensive and barley any to choose from! I'd kill for a store like that! ;( I'm so sad now! Lol
did you already did a review on zig kurecolors markers? really great if you can review them. It is actually the suggest alternative to copics here in the philippines. ^^
hi baylee jae im your number 1 fan trully, i think your art is amazing, what kind of markers do you recomend for beginers? -meow meow your trully biggest fan :D
I thought the sound was fine on the toy channel but if you don't like it you could somehow just put up a blanket to your right when sitting at that table. Even if you can get it hung to just above your head level it will bounce back the sound of your voice. Like maybe your laundry rack on the bed with a blanket draped over it. And I'd suggest a grey background, it's not too bright nor too dark and I bet most toys are bright colors and not grey so they won't blend in with it.
Maybe a tip? I don't use an external microphone, but instead I use the speech recorder of my phone instead. I know a lot of UA-camr do this and it works for me!
To sound proof maybe if you had like a rail surrounding you with the blankets draped on that rather than draping the room. You could maybe use that metal thing you've got for conventions and use that? That could help the echo problem without going too crazy hope this helped
I like how everything is just open and you can choose and get the materials you are going to buy. here the art materials, especially the high-quality ones, are behind the counter so if you are gonna buy a lot you're gonna have to tell the sales lady what you want and I have to be like "can I have that one, and that one oh and that one... oh and that one please" and the saleslady looks so annoyed and I'll be so embarrassed and be "ohh I forgot that one too (._.') . though I guess that's for security purposes I guess so sometimes I just hand her a list off things I want lol
Hi Baylee! About your microphone on your toy channel. I may not be right but do you have the microphone mounted to your camera and facing the toys? I know rode microphones are really good at cancelling out all the noise around them except for what is directly in front of it. This may be really stupid but if you haven't already it might sound better if you turn it around to face your voice. :)
I love your videos "D I started watching them on thursday and I cant stop. The spider one made me jump xD hehehe and your art is soooo amazing and stunning and ohmehgowd. :D much love, have an amazing day if you read this :D

Would you do a planner video or a "How I organize/plan" kind of video?
Baylee, can you please do a video on how you print your print or like the process? I am thinking of opening my own online store but I don't get how to make prints. You have inspired me so much. Thanks so much for making videos.

love, the planner wish we had those stores where I live in Pennsylvania lol. my two year old loves your kitties :) xo
Agree: Love everything about that planner!
Yeah! I live in Pennsylvania too. They don't have many good places that have that besides the downtown Philadelphia Blick store.
What store did you go with all those art supplies?
Maybe a tip? I don't use an external microphone, but instead I use the speech recorder of my phone instead. I know a lot of UA-camr do this and it works for me!
is that only in Canada?? if so that's RY sad
To sound proof maybe if you had like a rail surrounding you with the blankets draped on that rather than draping the room. You could maybe use that metal thing you've got for conventions and use that? That could help the echo problem without going too crazy hope this helped
