Personally, I may have found your channel through your first Departure video, but it's your consistent weekly ASMR content that keeps me coming back and helping me calm my nerves and focus at work. Your presentation is simple but interesting, your voice is lovely, and you have a real knack for finding the right sort of objects and textures to use for sounds.

I get very relaxed when you trace letters and read things on a page that I can also look at. I suppose it reminds me of being read to as a child. I have not ever seen the sound of music in my 21 years but I have been inspired by this video to do so =)

This brought back so many memories for me. Angela Cartwright and I are about the same age and she was my favorite female child actress when she was on Danny Thomas' Make Room For Daddy TV series. The year I was married (1982), my wife and I vacationed in the Bavarian Alps and went to places in and around Salzburg like the Fortress, the Glockenspiel and even danced inside the Gazebo where they filmed the 16 Going On 17 song in the movie. It was interesting to hear her refer to all these places! Wonderful job Ally, keep up the good work!

Hey Ally, if you were wondering about the code you mentioned is an example of Monoalphabetic Substitution so the symbol for a would be _| and the same symbol with a dot in it would denote the letter j, you can jumble up the sequence of the letters to create unique ciphers :)

I absolutely love this. I am a huge fan of the sound of music, would love this book u have with all the history behind the movie. Its my favourite movie of all time and i love the fact that my 4yr old girl is into it too.

Great cinematography, vocals, and choreography, in that 'Cinerama' classic of it's day!! I can't help myself but to post the parody 'Favorite Things' tune my daughter did on video for me when I was covering the Jodi Arias trial under a different UA-cam screen name. (You will have to be pretty familiar with that case in order to understand the humor in it). Ironically, the video starts off with a 'Wizard of Oz' tune in the background, ironic since you mention that film also.... Jodi Arias Guilty Verdict Interview , Pathetic Embarrasment! Juan Martinez Owns Jodi Again Allie, I appreciate the artistry and talent of the film now, even if I didn't as a 10 year old boy! Also of course, your TTT video is a world class ASMR masterpiece as always.

The way you handle the pages is impeccable. A lot of content creators forget to move slowly and deliberately, but this is perfect.
This takes me back to my school years when I was involved in the school's production of The Sound of Music. That was sort of milestone in my life.
