Let's Make a Gingerbread House for Relaxation (Binaural ASMR)

- Hey friends and fellow Tingleheads! A recent comment left by one of my viewers was a request for me to build a Gingerbread House. Given it's holiday season, I thought it was a great idea and so did a lot of viewers because it received a ton of up-votes. Now, as much as I wish I were skilled enough to create a Gingerbread House from scratch for a Tutorial Tingles episode, my Martha Stewart game just isn't strong enough. So, I acquired a Gingerbread House set and built that in this one-off video, which will hopefully be just as tingly and relaxing. :) Enjoy!

I made a gingerbread house last yr an after a couple weeks of enjoying it on the coffee table I through it out for the deer and squirrels. They seemed to enjoy it. ;)

Is it weird that I watch ASMR but I dont get any tingles. I just really like these videos, Aly is so relaxing and nice.

I don't really get tingles either. The only thing that does it for me is whispering really closely into one ear like heather feather does, but I find it easier to sleep to videos that don't excite me with tingles

Watching this is like watching the Food Network. You can't sit still for a full minute without feeling compelled to eat, so you go to the kitchen and scrounge for whatever snacks you can find.
Ephemeral Rift whispers really well and talks slowly somewhat how you're explaining in a lot of his videos. He's great.
I'm the same way, the only trigger I've found that always works for me is when you were crushing herbs in the wooden mortar and pestle. That Herb shoppe video is my favorite, but since that's the only video that I've found that triggers me, I mostly just watch ASMR for relaxation. I did watch a couple other videos of people crushing clay with marble mortar and pestle and that was nice, but the dry herbs against the wood is such a great sound
i was actually having a panic attack when i came across this video and it helped me a lot! your voice is so soothing it calmed me down right away.. :)

I understand what you mean about the trigger where people don't completely finish that sentence. I get triggered by that when ASMR artists don't notice that they're doing it. When it's being forced, I don't feel any tingles.
It's funny how everyone likes something different! :D
But as for the Gingerbread house, coming from someone who's Jewish (aka: ME!), I've never built a gingerbread house before and my goal is when I get my own place, that is what I'm doing for the holidays. It's good to know how to finally make one because it's confused me for so long! ....plus this relaxed me since I got to watch this right when I got up this morning! :) :)
I'm Jewish too and I've had gingerbread houses since I was a kid, my mom made them and they were great :)
haha im christian and i have never seen one either , gingerbread and gingerbread flavoured products are really nice , certainly my favourite seasonal taste.

+Alysa Spivak I am a Christian and my sisters and I make them every year. It gets to be a bit of a competition in the end because we all want our gingerbread houses to be the best. I would recommend getting some confectioner's sugar and sprinkling it over the top of the house. It in the end looks like snow!And I agree that when a trigger is forced it really isn't all that great. I sometimes will watch amateur how-to videos because the triggers are not on purpose. Most of those people probably have no clue what ASMR is! Also, I enjoy the tutor or teacher role-play videos done by some people. It feels a bit more natural. Especially when they know what they are teaching!Great comment!
You can't tell many people as a compliment, 'you put me to sleep', but Ally, after a traumatic childhood, I suffered from nightmares for years. I keep hearing about the asmr burnout syndrome but I just don't have it. If I'm sleepy I get knocked out. If I'm well rested I just remain relaxed. It would have been amusing to see the character from the Sweetzerland candy shop perform this project.
