- This video is a simple but thorough introduction to the German verb 'verstehen' in its main tenses with ten fill-in-the-gap exercises to practise its conjugation. The present tense conjugation is explained, as are the base forms of the two past tenses, the future tense and a useful idiomatic use of the verb. There is a chance for you to practise your conjugation by pausing the video and trying out the ten example sentences on the second slide, using 'verstehen' in a variety of contexts and restarting the video to mark your answers.

Wann können wir *nicht* für Nomen Negation benutzen?

Es tut mir leid, dass meine Antwort so verspätet ist. Im Satz mit “nicht das Herz” ist es eine Negation mit dem bestimmten Artikel (der, die das, etc.) statt mit dem unbestimmten Artikel (ein, eine, etc.). Kein kann als “nicht + ein” zusammengefasst werden. Hilft das?
