Peppermint Macarons
1 cup (120g) almond flour (Bob’s Red Mill Superfine blanced)
1 ¾ cup (204g) powdered sugar
¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
3 (101g) large egg whites, room temperature
2 tablespoons (26g) granulated sugar
½ teaspoon red gel food color
1/8 teaspoon peppermint oil
White chocolate ganache filling
1 cup (8 ounces) white chocolate chips
½ cup heavy cream
Decoration
½ cup white chocolate chips
Crushed candy canes

Love this recipe with peppermint extract! On the printed version on your website it says to bake at 350° when the video says 300°. I’m just getting around to making them with mint extract for ☘️!
I watch Rosanna and Jonny all the time and macarons come up quite a bit. I’ve always wanted to try them and try to bake them, but I’m allergic to almonds! 😢 Is there any substitute I could use instead of a tree nut flour?
