I just want a smooth face that's all. No acne, not super oily shiny, but not cakey too. Just a smooth skin and a healthy amount of natural oil. That is all.
Her glow is most definitely not (only) coming from that exfoliant. She has some serious layers of humectant rich serums, moisturizers and oils on her face.
Yes but most specifically very small and smooth pores, no blackhead or whiteheads, no pimples, an insanely even coloring on her face with no patches of discoloration, and very smooth skin with no visible bumps or texture, like the smoothness of the surface of glass, hence the name. Essentially there’s a lot of different things that go into it, but specifically what I think a lot of ppl are leaving out is that pores and all types of acne have to be basically non existent. Oils, and many types of moisturizers will actually do the complete opposite of getting you glass skin, as the glass skin effect comes from having 0 bumps, tiny tiny pores, which is actually the result of a very oil low to even free skin. So while hydration is still important to an extent because being too dehydrated will begin to look wrinkly and flaky, oil and moisture control, and finding very very specific non comedogenic and veryyy light humectant based moisturizers that have a barely there approach in order to not effect the bare oil and moisture low landscape you’re creating for your pores, is ESSENTIAL. What you want to be doing for moisturizing is moisturizing UNDER the top layer of the skin, so extremely pure humectants are essentially nonexistent to the top layer of the skin. For most people some type of anti acne products will also be necessary, with differing levels of strength, from basic topical salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide, to prescription strength acne medications to completely rid the skin of any imperfections.
@@evangelion8793 yeah all the people that make fun of glass skin that it’s just oily face with different name seem to collectively be missing this very important part. that for the skin to look this smooth and lustrous u need good skin texture, skintone evenness no visible pores etc all the imperfections have to be very minuscule to get that effect not just slap on oil and call it a day lol

Ok lemme explain for yall ppl thats commenting things like "She just has oily skin" Or "i look like that when its humid" Something something. Oily skin isnt the same as glass skin. Oily skin feels greasy, your pores are often clogged, and are prone to acne. Glass skin is when your skin looks poreless, no acne, looks and feels dewy, it shouldnt look oily but instead glowy and healthy.
I have actually been able to get my face close to this level of "glassiness"...there is zero greasiness or oiliness involved. The skin has a smooth appearance that really does have a reflective shine. It gets kind of annoying though because people constantly ask me if I'm too warm, they just automatically assume I'm sweaty!
@@cie-cuche3302 Hi sure, I got a lot of info from UA-cam on how to use hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C Serum and retin-A cream to moisturize and refine my skin. The process was gradual and I started noticing changes immediately. First there was an intense purging period of about 2 months where bacteria released from beneath the skin caused crazy breakouts. I learned that part was normal and to be expected. Afterward my skin cleared up and began slowly getting more smooth and the pores just shrunk with no more break outs. The "glassy" results took about a year. I would say do your own research and find cost effective products that work for you. BTW..I'm 40 plus😏

Glass Skin: Glass skin is when your skin is at its very healthiest. In order for skin to appear poreless, luminous, translucent, and reflect light so many things have to happen. You can't just be hydrated and look that way. Glass skin is a Korean term for skin that has a healthy inner glow it definitely is not skin that looks really or greasy or sweaty LOL

I’m curious how this product works. The ingredients listed are all proven great but I thought we weren’t supposed to mix them? Skincare is so confusing.
There are many products that contain a mixture of aha/bha - Cerave, versed, cosrx, good molecules, a bunch of different toners, those little exfoliating/toning pads, just off the top of my head. They CAN be irritating ingredients so it’s best to know how your skin handles them, but it is common to see different acids mixed in some good products.

“Glass skin” is unattainable if you have active acne, multiple deep box and/or ice-pick scars. No amount of skincare or derm treatment will ever completely erase deep acne scars.
That’s okay though, don’t be discouraged if you can’t attain the current skin trends and just enjoy /YOUR/ version of healthy & happy skin :)
oof hard pill to swallow since I have everything you've mentioned and I've always wanted to try having dewy smooth skin, but you're right, I'll just enjoy the natural beauty that I do have. I'm more than just my skin anyway. My value as a person is so much more than just my skin.
Well I had acne acars that basically disappeared after years of using tretinoin, now my skin looks like I never had acne

Thanks
Ok lemme explain for yall ppl thats commenting things like "She just has oily skin" Or "i look like that when its humid" Something something. Oily skin isnt the same as glass skin. Oily skin feels greasy, your pores are often clogged, and are prone to acne. Glass skin is when your skin looks poreless, no acne, looks and feels dewy, it shouldnt look oily but instead glowy and healthy.
What is she using

@@Theadventurer12 try DMSO (externaly) and Grapefruitseed (externaly and internaly) extract. God bless
Hi please can you share some of the things you did, to achieve that type of glass skin, thank you
@@cie-cuche3302 Hi sure, I got a lot of info from UA-cam on how to use hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C Serum and retin-A cream to moisturize and refine my skin.

What’s the name of this product ? Pls
