Man I really need to collect the rest of these guys, this’ll blow my military titans Foc bruticus out of the water when it comes to fun transformations
Undoubtedly it will. I will have to caution you though since I didn't go over the figures as individuals in this video, Swindle has INSANELY tight tolerances, and a bunch of redundant pegs. I cut many of them off and hogged out a bunch of ports to make it better. And the Vortex has this one Miserable problem where the ball joint that hold's the head onto the body is barely contained. It just slips out like it's designed to and was greased to do it. Basically any time you touch the head, you are going to pop the head off. There is literally no avoiding it. Outside that one sad issue the figure is perfect. Swindle you can fix, blast off you can't. Blast off has fewer issues than swindle, but his one issue is worse than any of swindles.
@@PerspectiveEnd Awe I already knew all of those warnings from your "Whats the best" video of all those figures, and I do have the Vortex myself so I know he can lose his head at times. I'd tried to dab some dish soap onto the joint and it did loosen it for a good while, though now it's kinda tighter then where it was, but it stays in better so that's something- The only real problem for me is scalping a 100 smackers per each figure when you're kinda in a penny pintcher budget lol But hey, in time, I know I'll get the gang eventually- If I have the illusive Upgraded FoC Bruticus, I can surely get those rad goobers
I did just get a notification from TFSource that they plan to have the Onslaught back in stock soon. As for the Scalpers. You can find Scalpers? I went to Ebay the other day to look up the Assaultus expecting to find scalpers, but I couldn't find any member of the team for sale at all.
Of course he's your favorite he's the coolest. Devestator has that cool Green and Purple themeing, but he's not a bunch of military vehicles and a space ship that turn into a guy with a Roman Name.

I think you need this as well, and in my WTB video I did give Blast off the title of Best. Though they are all fantastic, and I think any of them will be the Crown Jewels of what ever collection the go in. Though Vortex's head is a Pain in the ASS
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah, I remember that video. The whole mass-shifting aspect to Blast Off's transformation seems really appealing. And yes, I remember that you complained about the head coming off for Vortex
Well I mean yeah, but it's not funny when it's actually true. Though to be fair, Grimlock with a gun for a head also is way better than a Metal Gear... But that's at least funny on it's own.

Glad to hear it. I expect you are going to looooove the set. Vortex's head will probably pop off a lot, it's the one flaw the set has, and my swindle's tolerances were way too tight, but outside that the set is Flawless. The cannons can rotate forward?? Damn, that's nice. Reminds me of MMC Predaking (and by extension, the Neoart & Jinbao KOs)...and probably most other interpretations of Predaking. Why hasn't this been a thing for Bruticus before?? 🤔🤔🤔 If only it wasn't so smurfin' pricey...the Unique Toys one is currently the cheapest option among the G1 show-centric offerings, but for me, the Jinbao KO of Warbotron is THE cheapest option for a MP sized Bruticus. 😒😒😞😞 (Yeah, MP size, but CHUG aesthetic; same problem most of the Leader class peeps in Combiner Wars, Titans Return, & Power of the Primes had.)
The simple problem is this isn't a Combiner. Its 5 MP figures that also combine. That's why it's so expensive. The UT figures sacrifice all the individual bots for that combined mode. This sacrifices NOTHING. That's what you are paying for.
Mmc is recently making an all built in defensor and its looking to not only be better then bruticus but even more accurate so im looking forward to pick him up
Man, I'd be all over this set if someone would just release a nice toon style partsforming add on kit that made it as tall as the Toyworld/Zeta/XTB/Fanstoys combiners.

The original is sold out but a new version is coming out and I want it so much. Thanks for suggestion.
It's no problem and there have been several Re-releases so far.
I'll be waiting until MMC announces the Constructions.
That would be SICK! I don't know if they plan on it right now. They've Announced a Protectabots set like this, so it seems like they might be trying to stay out of the way of the other companies, but who knows, they might do it one day.

I don't know that I want to tear him to shreds. It's a combiner wars figure they are all pretty equally flawed.

Been waiting for your take on the all-in-one!
I'm glad to have finally been able to cover it. It's been a glaring object on my todo list for so long.
@@PerspectiveEnd The all-in-one engineering is super impressive. There are always flaws, but they are easier to overlook when you appreciate the effort and creativity that's gone into integrating the accessories in such a functional and cohesive manner.
@@xtrasolido Like I don't even think it's flaws are all that bad. Like what are they?
Slightly limited fingers, and short toes?
It's got forward butterfly. It's got an Ab Crunch. It's got ankle tilts and wrist swivels? Like what more is anyone asking for?
@@PerspectiveEnd I was thinking of the ones you mentioned in the video that other people point out. Also, I believe there used to be a problem with the shoulder joints but MMC made replacements available, so that one seems to be solved, too. Other than those, I don't see any.
@@xtrasolido Oh yeah, like the head comming off of vortex, and swindles tightness.
And damn it I forgot to mention the new shoulder ratchet on blast off.
I'd tried to dab some dish soap onto the joint and it did loosen it for a good while, though now it's kinda tighter then where it was, but it stays in better so that's something-
The only real problem for me is scalping a 100 smackers per each figure when you're kinda in a penny pintcher budget lol
But hey, in time, I know I'll get the gang eventually- If I have the illusive Upgraded FoC Bruticus, I can surely get those rad goobers
I did just get a notification from TFSource that they plan to have the Onslaught back in stock soon.
As for the Scalpers. You can find Scalpers? I went to Ebay the other day to look up the Assaultus expecting to find scalpers, but I couldn't find any member of the team for sale at all.
Bruticus is my fave Combiner and no one can change my mind.
Of course he's your favorite he's the coolest. Devestator has that cool Green and Purple themeing, but he's not a bunch of military vehicles and a space ship that turn into a guy with a Roman Name.
@@PerspectiveEnd Devastator is overrated and Menasor is just Motomaster on steroids.
I need to get this. I think I'll start off with getting Blast Off. He's my favourite of the bunch. I just love the the colours and his aloof personality
I think you need this as well, and in my WTB video I did give Blast off the title of Best. Though they are all fantastic, and I think any of them will be the Crown Jewels of what ever collection the go in. Though Vortex's head is a Pain in the ASS

I knew it, I knew there would be someone who said Finally!
FINALLY, a comparison of him and omega and it fits for the chug line
In combined mode yes, as individual bots not really. They are all MP scaled when Separated. And I'm glad I did something you'd been looking to see.
Will you review the JuJiang Commander a.k.a. Ko Combiner Wars Superion?
Since they’re making SS86 Devastator smaller than the CW version I assume they’ll make Age of Primes Bruticus around the same height.
We can only hope it's good in the end.
I see... Monetization...
Finally... You... have... reviewed... this figure. It's been 3000 years. Nice... review.....
I've been monetized for a while now. And thank you I'm glad you like it, but what ever reference you are making is flying past my head.
This used to be one of the channels I turned add blocks off for, recently I just uninstalled add block. I found it a scummy thing to use
I like the look of this set and the engineering on these guys is pure genius but I can’t afford them but I really really really wish I could
It is genius, maybe one day you will be able pick it up.
@@PerspectiveEnd I hope
Will you ever buy MMC R48 Optus Pexus, I've seen that figure has very good articulation and that jobby will review it soon.
I wish I'd grabbed it when I had the chance, but they are sold out everywhere, so I'm going to have to wait on a second run.
I was about to give up on this set... had Probus and Volatus, but then I thought about that: what more could you ask for? Your review reminded me basically everything I told myself when I bought the two first. Now the rest of the set is on its way pretty close to my birthday! :D
Sorry for your wallet, glad you got it though. It's an amazing set. Swindle is a challenge because of how tight his joints are, and Vortexes head is annoying, but even still they amazing figures. I don't recommend you go at swindle with a knife to open up those joints unless you know what you are doing.
I don't know what the etiquette is on question/answer time over youtube video Comment section, but this came up in my feed, so I'm watching it again. And it's making me think about the new devastator announcement... I'm kind of really afraid that they're gonna Drip feed the first 4 figures and they're gonna be pretty darn good. Then the commander to finish devastator will come out and I will be deeply disappointed in the level of parts forming... I'd love to hear your thoughts.
For another incredibly accurate Bruticus, I'd recommend Magic Square's.
Bit too small for me, but thank you
WOW! You are definitely an influencer. With shipping & taxes I just paid $600 for a 100 complete set of opened and displayed MMC Combaticons! 😝 Back in the day I did want one, but was too late for a brand new set. But your review brought back my desire to pick this BIG BOY.
Wow. That's the biggest expenditure anyone's ever told me I got them to pick up.
That's a good price on this set. Each one is about 100 bucks with a few being a bit over, so 600 is right in line.
Glad to hear it. I expect you are going to looooove the set. Vortex's head will probably pop off a lot, it's the one flaw the set has, and my swindle's tolerances were way too tight, but outside that the set is Flawless.
When you get it in hand tell me what your favorite is and how you feel about each of them.
@@PerspectiveEnd I remember when collectors were eagerly anticipating the release of each combaticon fig. So this is a good get for the price. Plus I could tell that the owner loves his figures and proudly displays them on social media. He actually has put together an interior space using the plastic floor and wall moldings. Which is legit!👌👌 👌👌
@@PerspectiveEnd I have to the tell you! The amount of LOVE that the collector who sold me his MMC Combaticons is awe inspiring!
It seemed like the collection came straight from the distribution center.
And the packages were so pristine, i had to watch a video on how to delicately open collector packages.
And i wore white gloves too 😂
Good thing I already had a good tool available from my manicuring kit.
You were right on the money!
This Masterpiece Combaticons set was well worth the cost 😁👍

If I had him the extending gun would really throw me off as I am left handed and I just always put weapons on the left hand
I'm ambidextrous, some stuff I do right, some left, and I always want to put the guns in the left hand as well.
The cannons can rotate forward?? Damn, that's nice. Reminds me of MMC Predaking (and by extension, the Neoart & Jinbao KOs)...and probably most other interpretations of Predaking. Why hasn't this been a thing for Bruticus before?? 🤔🤔🤔
If only it wasn't so smurfin' pricey...the Unique Toys one is currently the cheapest option among the G1 show-centric offerings, but for me, the Jinbao KO of Warbotron is THE cheapest option for a MP sized Bruticus.
This is a great review as always man 😀

This reminds me of the old G1 Bruticus commercial where the narrator was rapping.
