Like Caleb mentioned, LEGO Racers 2 was responsible for introducing me to this subset of LEGO vehicle. Years later I would track down a decent portion of the pack and they did not disappoint. Solid ranking and commentary.
Old school lego cars are unbeatable. I also think terrain trapper is majestic in its cute round silliness. You just need to replace the net thingie with an artillery piece!
My personal favorite is your #4, which coincidentally was my favorite vehicle to race in Lego Racers 2. Quite a few of the Adventurers vehicles featured in Racers 2, and while I didn’t own many of them I raced in all of them, so this ranking was very nostalgic to me for that reason.
The All-Terrain Trapper looks like a WWII Higgins Beachmaster with an elongated bow and stern. The T-Rex transport looks like a 1920s-ish tractor trailer (they actually got that small). There are artillery tractors that look like the Dino Explorer. Would the coffin car be a hearse?
Great video! It's really fun seeing all the different variations of this car design! I would say that the Scorpion Tracker doesn't deserve number 1 because some of the others are much better... but it was also my first Adventurers set and I couldn't put it anywhere else 😅 And I actually really like the All Terrain Trapper. It was my first exposure to amphibious vehicles so it's memorable to me. It's a land AND water vehicle, that's cool, even though it looks so dorky hahaha
Thanks, and yeah.. I won't deny that nostalgia is a huge factor with old stuff like this. I never had the All Terrain Trapper until I made it for this video, so it didn't have any fond childhood memories attached to it.
@@brickjawns I didn't have the Trapper either, my classmate had it. I don't think it's that cool, but it's definitely more memorable than 10 variations on the same (albeit cool) design. I feel like most lego reviewers who review old themes do it from a nostalgic sense. Otherwise you wouldn't do it. It's unavoidable. It makes you seem friendlier (i guess) haha, since even though we know nothing about each other we played with the same toy car. Objective reviews don't grab the audience like that. It's also fun to see your reaction to sets you did have and didn't have. Like the Dino Research Compound where you were surprised how nice it was. This was a fun series of videos, thanks! Very much enjoyed
Tonight on Bottom Gear I escape the IRS in a makeshift coffin on wheels, Jamie drives through India with explosives in his back trunk and Hammond gets arrested for killing dinosaurs with a tank

I've still got that game on n64, I should've added some clips from it!
The Scorpion Tracker was the very first Adventurers set I had as well.
Dude your style of humor is unprescedentedtly epic for lego youtube. Keep with it!

Love that one too. Just got it a couple weeks ago, and it’s really the one that made me decide to get the rest to make the video
3#'s truck was always the winner for me.

Great video, you made my laugh out loud multiple times.
Thanks! Glad you like it!
Scorpion Tracker is the best, also the only one I had lol. Great videos in your channel!
Thank you!

@@HotDogTimeMachine385 Yeah, these videos were a great excuse to track down all these old adventurers sets
Damn, I saw some of these cars in LEGO Racers 2 and didn't thought that they're exist.
7:00 so it makes sense then, that both are Bosses in Lego Racers 1 :D
7, 3 & 2 for me. Wonderful system design
Today I learnt that you could fit a flat 2x2 piece behind the seats.
Tonight on Bottom Gear
I escape the IRS in a makeshift coffin on wheels,
Jamie drives through India with explosives in his back trunk
and Hammond gets arrested for killing dinosaurs with a tank
😂
The Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins and Adventurers Car & Skeleton would have to be my favourites.
Reminds me of Lego racers lol
3:55 I see what you did there
I’m surprised 19 even made it there
I love that use included a scene from CKY made your point way more funnier 2:10 lmao
I love that you recognized it
Idk how you can't love the ATT. Reminds me a lot of those soviet amphibious vehicles.
So nostalgic ✨
@5:24 damn bro why you gotta call me out like that
Um… LEGO still makes PLENTY of “action sets.” No need to crap on Jane Goodall and wild flowers. 😤
