So sorry you were in pain. I want to tell you a fun story! My brother and his wife shared a birthday and when they turned 30, my sister in law gave birth to a little girl. They already had a little girl that was 5 and exact 1 year and 3 weeks later they had a boy to complete their family. They always loved "the shared birthday" and had lots of fun with it. Enjoy all your boys and get well fast

Rachel, I can honestly say that I KNOW how you feel! Our 2nd daughter was supposed to be a planned c-section but a few days before my water broke in the evening and we had to
go to the hospital. The only problem was that I didn't know I was going to go that evening and have major surgery and we had a huge "all you can eat" pizza buffet. Needless to say I had some serious gas pains the next day! My belly was rolling around so much that I told them there must have been 2 babies in there and they left one! Lol It was BAD! But they ended up giving me an enema to help get some of the gas out. And believe me there was some serious "tooting" going on! Congratulations on your sweet baby! Hope you can feel better quickly!
C-sections are no joke. It does get better day by day. Hope you're feeling better. Atticus is an angel baby. So darling.
After my second c-section, I was in excruciating pain too. I was okay with my first baby,(I was in hospital for 10days) but oh boy the second, I thought I was dying. This was 46 years ago now, but they didn’t give me morphine I was given paracetamol. So I know how you are feeling sweetheart. Keep well, it looks like the hospital has you covered. Oh you poor lady rach.. With my second c section I had endometriosis burnt out and my uterus burnt off my bladder and that was the worst pain I had ever been in and I was so thankful my baby was in the neonatal unit so I knew Alfie was being really well looked after!!
Bless your heart... Every time is different with every pregnancy with every woman! Some have it more difficult than others. I hope you feel better soon. ❤
Gas pains are the worst. Had them after a similar surgery and wouldn’t want to repeat them….ever. But, you look great in spite of it and Atticus is wow, handsome!

Percocet and Tylenol were my pain regimen while healing after my C-section with my daughter. I didn’t experience the undeniable pain you went through after your second C-section. I’m glad your doing much better now and finally getting relief.
C-sections definitely aren’t the easy way out.

I’m watching this late but Happy Belated Birthday Rachel. I’m so sorry your in so much pain. I do hope the pain reliever gives you relief today so you can be relatively pain free for the rest of your Birthday. Your Mom is amazing, I love how involved she is with the boys and you can see how much she loves you all. Atticus is perfect. I see a resemblance to Leo..Congratulations to you & Harold. I had our second baby in November and it was my first csection experience. It was a planned one and it honestly was an AMAZING experience. But the WORST part was them pushing on your stomach several times that night afterwards. Now, almost 4 months later it feels like I never even had major surgery. Praying for healing and a smooth recovery for you!!!!❤

Rachel your pain is possibly gas pain from the c section. I went through four. Get up and walk to get the gas ( air) out. Also rub your stomach. Much love ❤❤ Take a pillow and hold it on your belly for the ride home. God bless you. It is so painful. Stay strong and enjoy little Atticus, he is beautiful!! ❤❤

My pain level was a 100/10 too with my section last summer and it could not be regulated with meds and I couldn't get up, couldn't walk even after a week in the hospital I knew instinctively something was wrong. Doctors didn't believe me at first and finally gave me an antibiotic but still that didn't work so I sought out 2nd opinion and another hospital. Ct scan revealed a serious internal infection that turned out to be an ecoli infection which I've been told is very rare and that I was very lucky to be alive. It required two months of antibiotics orally, 2 hospital stays and 2 IV antibiotics for 3 days. This and 2 months later still wasn't able to do anything so I found a new obgyn to the state and crying told her I just wanted a percentage of my life back I needed to be able to care for my daughter at least. She sent me physical therapy and now after 5 months of pt I'm about 80 percent back and credit it all to pt and my ob.

Exactly. Powerful narcotics and prayers. As a chronic pain person, both of these are necessary in the pain journey.

Happy Birthday🎉 I don't think they will release you until the pain is under control, and they think it will continue to get better. I hope. At least with me they said they could not release me until the pain was under control and mine wasn't even as bad as yours. But that was 17 years ago.😮
