Wow, that's incredible! Yamaha does it again!! I just put this guitar on my wish list! Beautiful intro demo song, great layering, and loved the E-Bow at the end! Really a perfect mini looping and layering master class all by itself, showing what is possible through looping using creativity and talent. Great description of the guitar and all of it's amazing features. Great job!
I love to watch you play and use all your musical talent and creativity. You truly know how to treat masterpieces with due care and love! Thank you, Robbie and Yamaha! ❤🧡💛💙💜
What a great guitar and amazing video. Your explanation was very professional and second to none. I subscribed and liked your video and look forward to hearing more from you. Thank you.
Hi Robbie,Great demo and explanation of all features for the new product. I need another guitar like a hole in my head but might have to check this one out. Hope all is well.
Hi George, After I tapped the circle the first time (which ends the first loop) you saw me push the reverb knob, that re-arms the looper for continuous record mode. You later see me disarm the looper using the same knob before using the E-bow.
Interesting video, thanks. Hey... what's that thing you're holding in your right hand (near the sound hole) whilst playing slide (approx 2:50 into the video)?
Can someone out there tell us how to replace the internal battery after it dies? I wouldn’t want to send it anywhere as I’m an electronics guy myself. Thanks.
@@jeremyOwen-s2w Hi Jeremy, my demo was recorded using the direct output blended with the microphone. The Direct recording signal sounds really good. I used it to track a couple of sessions too using the effects…it’s one of the best I’ve used.
Could you post a link to a direct out only track? I live near airport so i cant always blend a mic. Also Im Curious if the guitar itself would re-broadcast sympathetic audio, like an acoustic drum kit to close to the guitar live on stage.
Love the concept, and this guitar sounds amazing. However, I am very leary about buying it, for the reason that it may not be useful for playing live music because of feedback. The volume dial is in the soundhole and the effects also may not sound good with a soundhole cover needed to control the feedback. I’m sure I could modify the cover to get to the volume dial but it’s not a cheap guitar. And that one thing may be the dealbreaker for me?
The effects will transfer through the 1/4 jack output. You can also control the guitar volume from the loop rotary dial…so this acoustic won’t be any different from any other acoustic guitars live.
@@robbiecalvoguitar I did not know the guitar plugged in’s volume worked through the looper rotary knob. I thought that was only for increasing or decreasing the volume of the looper. So how then do you adjust the volume of the looper when guitar is plugged in through the 1/4” jack into an amp or the pa without effecting the volume of guitar, or after making a loop, while plugged in, decreasing volume of looper or guitar?
Its official, I'm guitarted!! I will die if I don't get this guitar! Please stop making new technology for acoustic guitars!!! At this stage of my life, I would've been better off being addicted to crack! I'd still have money left!!!

It’s hard enough making a right handed looper, plus right handed strings and right handed guitar chairs. Even right handed sheet music. Cut them some slack!

Great way to demonstrate the layers off loops
Your musical performance is truly remarkable, sir. The looping technique you employ is quite impressive.
Nice to see you back Robbie. What a guitar! Nice demo.

The acoustic guitar tone itself is superb. Yamaha.
Wow all in one! Sounds beautiful too :)
Cool, like an all-in-one guitar
Great demo Robbie! That's a featured filled guitar!

Amazing review. 🙏
Amazing intro!
I didn’t see you tapping the circle after adding overdubs,Robbie, yet they were added on.

Thangyaverimuch ,Robbie.
Didn’t expect an answer so soon.I’m in Australia and I thought you’d be in dreamland right now, lol.
Love your channel.

I've heard the figure of 5 hours being mentioned. I haven't tested this for myself.
is there external footswitch?
No
What does it sound like direct to tape or through a PA? No body seems to want to talk about this.

enough already!
Left hand players neglected by Yamaha once again.

It never stopped Jimi Hendrix.
@ Jimi Hendrix built this in a CAVE!!!! WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!!!!!!
Aww man that never crossed my mind it shouldn't be to difficult for Yamaha to reverse everything for lefties
