@Diabetic Cycling I’m a new subscriber to your channel as of today 8/15/24, your content is awesome and this footage has incredible scenery, along with your editing skills. I got into cycling 24 yrs ago & love the sport. My first true road bike was the Cannondale CAAD 3, and all of my machine’s are Cannondales, all of 10 bikes in those 24 years. In fact, I purchased the Cannondale Synapse alloy 2 yrs. Ago. Now I’ve just purchased the Cannondale Synapse Carbon with Smartsense. I’m looking forward to putting this beauty on the road & accumulating many miles with my cycling buds. I’m located in Ontario California & our scenery here in California is 2nd to none. PS if possible maybe you can do a review on the Cannondale Synapse with the Smartsense package in the near future 😊
Hi Dwayne! Thanks for your time spent with me watching this and also the sub! I actually rode on a Synapse Carbon for a few years several years ago, very familiar with it although yours is a newer generation much improved probably. My mom lives in Ontario, I'm familiar with the area :) Not sure if another Synapse is in my future, but one never knows. Be safe out there, sir!

Very nice footage! Yosemite is beautiful and Trek Checkpoints are great! Soon I'll be back to the valley after 30 years. Congrats on your new Lauf Seigla, its a masterpiece.

Seigla is something else. Arguably, and all my gravel friends, unanimously agreed Seigla is the one to take out when the dirt is on tap. What a ride.... Though I currently roll on Seigla and Canyon Grail for dirt, I would be more than happy if someone said I could only keep Seigla for the rest of my life riding dirt. Should be not too difficult to adjust cockpit position. I got this bike out of box then immediately actully did the opposite putting a longer stem and slamming it down. In the process, I also changed the handlebar to a narrower bar. Comes with enough spacers to bring up the cockpit to your liking.
how did it perform over long distances? Ihave a backissue and want to know if this is too stretched out in terms of a seating position - thanks!
Well, the way I have it set up isn't definitely endurance. I have it stretched out a bit than its factory config. That said, I've been taking it out on 70-100 mile days with no issue. The front end obviously has the suspension that aids in comfort, but the rear is magically awesome I gotta say. Your mileage may vary though since no 2 bodies are alike.
