I was 4 weeks in Canada and this country is so beautiful 😍. You can see so many animals (deers, blackbears, grizzly bears …!) The people are so friendly and helpfully! Everybody should go on time in his life to Canada, to visit and feel the nature. ❤️

I've never been a fan of camping but could definitely do it that way - so cool!
I used to enjoy camping, when I was much younger. Then I married a man who worked out in the middle of nowhere at a rock quarry. We lived at the quarry all week and went home on weekends. At the job site we lived in a tiny 12-foot teardrop trailer with only 12-volt battery power, no fridge, no bathroom, no running water and no AC, when we had record breaking 115F degree heat really sucked. Between having to go 25 miles into a tiny town to get ice every single day of our lives, carry 20 gallons of water in about three times per week, charge five 12-volt batteries every weekend, and bathing in a cold creek, camping lost it's allure. Living in a place where I had to keep my broom outside the door to sweep the step and under the step for *rattlesnakes* every time I went out wasn't any fun, either. Watching peregrine falcons and bald eagles hunt was great fun. So was watching the swarms of bats that flew out of a nearby cave at sunset every night. I got to be a pretty decent amateur astronomer, too, since there wasn't anything to do at night.
Rewatching this in 2022, and now you have your own Clementine, it makes me so happy
This is on my bucket list to live in a van at least for a week. I probably prefer RV 😜😜😜😜😜😜😜

Love Canada and would love to go back again some time. I was there in the early 90s on a family holiday where we drove from Calgary to Vancouver going through Banff, Kamloops and Jasper so pretty much the route you are going. All national parks with some amazing scenery.
It is such a joy to see you two so excited and happy in your travels! It makes me smile every time. Thank you for sharing your life!
We spent a whole fabulous week in Banff NP a couple weeks ago and were so bummed when it was time to leave. It is definitely one of our favorite places in the world. You guys will love it!

Welcome to my country. I love Banff. The van is awesome, considering renting one on my next visit. When I lived in Banff the elk drove us crazy, esp when you ride a bike.

I love Jasper! I worked at Patricia Lake Bungalows on a working holiday visa. It's so beautiful and the drive from Jasper to Calgary has breathtaking views
Whenever I switch from right-hand drive to left or vice versa, I’m generally pretty OK as long as there are context cues-road markings, other traffic, etc. but when you’re on a single lane road or car park aisle, it requires some concentration. And I’ve had to remind myself to turn the correct way into a roundabout. Always clockwise in RHD countries! Drive safely!

They did a heck of a job on this conversion, loads of high quality and cost items. Those Victron batteries are about $1500 USD each! I have the same composting head on my boat. I can't wait to see how you get along with it. Some say to add a little sugar to the urine bottle.

The van is beautiful, although I don’t agree with the placement of the fridge. It’s out of the way and someone can’t use the bench if you’re cooking...
This area is where I lived with my husband when we were first married in 1985 to 1988. We spent many hours exploring and picnicing there. Sadly my husband passed away on July 8 2019 after a12 year battle with Parkinson's disease. It brings back wonderful memories, thank you.

I've got so much catching up to do with you guys! I think the last time I caught one of your videos, you were in either Scotland or Ireland!😂 - Loving the Canadian scenery. I think for all of the touristy city places, you really can't beat the natural environment. Who wouldn't feel alive and refreshed in a place like that?! .....oh, and come back to the UK soon, before Boris builds a wall around it.

Totally agree. They really look excited about the camper. They love being able to do things just the two of them with no crowds...so having a camper van really allows them just go. We're full time travelers and totally going to be adding a Canada van tour to our list.
