If I had not been abandoned and left in poverty without any financial support or access to mental healthcare or medications, my family and I would never have been able to see I was delusional and in denial about the severity of my disabilities after a traumatic brain injury.
I am guilty. I did do everything for him. Yes, helped him to go get help. But he may hate me for it, but nobody else was honest with him and really tell him straight forward that he needed the help.
