This album is absolutely gorgeous. He keeps pushing the boundaries of rap. I love how he merged the characteristics of his folk’ish projects. This starts a whole new aesthetic, just like he did previously. ( I first noticed this in Sumemr rain) First 4 albums, pioneering cloud rap, then releasing 4 emotional ones. And now this project which is so much different. He coudlve stopped at the level of Lavender or the earlier albums and look for mainstream success, constantly doing the same thing cos it would work and it appeals easily, but he’s out here bending rules.
