Last time I was at Coco Cay was in 1991 just after RC purchased the island. Back then all they had was a few folding tables with drinks and sandwiches. So crazy to hear of the transformation. Cant wait to be going in December
just got back from coco kay, I was disappointed by the chicken sandwich (dry and over-cooked) but the mozzarella sticks were good. Cookies were hard and not very flavorful. Best tip: Warmest water is on the south side of the island. (started at the cove, moved to the pool, stayed at on the southside the rest of the day.) I was impressed that passengers from 2 ships didn't make the island feel crowded, there were plenty of chairs everywhere except by the pool (I don't know why they have so few?) Thanks for all your help with our first RC cruise, we had a relaxing time celebrating our 20th ann. w/o the kids.
This is actually good to know. I'm sailing there in December on Harmony & I was wondering if there's more than one ship docked there if it would feel too crowded.
Was in the island on Feb 16th. Filled up on Sandwiches and mozz sticks!!! cant wait to go back. my vlog from coco cay comes out tomorrow if you want to check it out!
We've just been there on Harmony. We didn't do the water park as it wasn't for us but the rest of the park is great. And the mrs had the crispy chicken which yes, was tasty. The merch was a little expensive and the vendors don't haggle. You need to take a good look around as although it looks like they're all selling the same thing, some are cheaper than others. All in all a great day though
If accessibility is an issue, one side of oasis lagoon has handrails for the entire entry into the water. Closer to the kids side where you can just walk in, nearer the bar. There is also a handicapped lift/seat available near the other side. That area has handrails from the inpool lounges level to the water but not from the deck to the lounge level.
I can't wait for Coco Cay. But I have to say it: 130 dollars per person for the water park is way too expensive for what it is. I can spend a full day at Disney World and do MUCH more stuff and pay less. This is price gouging plain and simple. For a family of 5 (which is my case) this is absolutely insane.
We are booked on the Odessey in January 2021 and we are going to Coco-cay AND Labadee(we haven't been to those two after they've been"amplified"! Does the drink&wifi-packages work as well on Labadee??
Excellent info. We'll be there in May. I don't think we are gonna go to thrill water park. our son is 6 so not sure he'll get much out of it. What do you think?
That chicken sandwich really is great. Honestly it’s one of my more vivid memories of that day.
Late to the party here, but I ate three of them back in January when we were there! They are so good!

These sound great!! We go in a bit shy of a year with Alanna Zingano!!!❤️
lovely content
Is the wave pool free or is it only in the paid water park?
In the paid water park.....unfortunately

What about the glass bottom boat ride? Do you recommend it?
Another thing about CoCoCay. I have been told that you can hear the music under water when in the Oasis Lagoon.
We wanted to do the up up and away balloon ride but it was closed due to high winds. :-(
Are the beach chairs with umbrellas an extra charge?
Nope. Free!
Royal Caribbean Blog Thank you! Less than a week until my first Royal Caribbean cruise! 😊 Thank you for all your awesome videos!

130 per person??? On top of your cruise cost? Madness
Watch for a sale on the water park. Ours started out that high but came down a couple of times.
@@MJTroop11 can you reprice your ticket as you can with your cruise fair if the price drops after you purchase?
Yes you can re price the things you buy in the cruise planner. You cancel the original purchase and buy it again.
@@MJTroop11 awesome. Thanks for the info
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT
You forgot about the lizards in the pool islands! And around the island are iguanas and chickens!

Does Cococay have a free public beach or are you forced to buy the day package in order to use the beach? Thank you!

I just got back from Coco Cay. Venders take sea pass until 2pm and some take credit cards.
Why do you need a wave pool when you have the ocean?
Idk maybe the ocean doesn't have waves... Think of where they are. Stop making idiotic comments
blewyd it wasn't idiotic at all and I didn't know there weren't waves ib the carribean until I read your comment so please done be rude like that
I am going in March. Do we bring towels from the ship at Cococay or do they have them there?
Take one. You can exchange it for a fresh one on the island while does last
When I went it rained
What did you do?
Eww. Swim diapers allowed in all pools? Not one disallowed? That's not a selling point.
How about the self serve draft beer
Be they on the 25th April can not what box the jet ski they look good
40 days till we set sail on anthem 😎
Lil did he know
Come on Matt didn't you mean to say get the crispy chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks 🙂
Some vendors take your room number down, no cash, credit card needed.
Not in the straw market its cash only
You keep on saying key is cay c-ay
I hope they don’t cancel August, 2020
It's pronounced coco cay not coco key , cay is meant to rhyme with day.
Great to know because I'm going on a Canada and New England cruise and there is no point in me watching this
