Seminyak Bali: More Than Just a Beach City

- If you're going to Indonesia, you're probably going through Seminyak, Bali. And you've probably heard of and are excited about Seminyak Beach. However, there's more to Seminyak city than just the resorts, beach, surfing, and beach clubs.
Seminyak food - there is cuisine from around the world, and they actually do a pretty amazing job at most of the restaurants
Seminyak shopping - this might be where it really shines, because they have big retail stores but also the boutique creative stuff that is totally unique and one of a kind
There is a thriving art scene, and the Seminyak nightlife shouldn't be discounted either.
Overall - spend some time off the beach and in the city!

We currently use the Panasonic GH5 and the Sigma 18-35, a great combo and the GH5 just has a massive price drop a couple weeks ago 😁
Seminyak isn’t right next to the airport
Is it easy to find the side street shopping you mentioned? Do you have a street name for the boutiques or is it pretty easy to find once you're there?
We basically just suggest not shopping on the main streets, the shops we found on side streets were just small rooms with clothes, no frills whatsoever, and they had the best deals 😁

Hey Adam - I believe that's called "the W" (a day club). If you look it up on google maps you should find it, the passageway is actually just the entrance to the club and it wasn't busy so we were walking back and forth taking photos/videos, haha! ✌
Which lens were used for the wide shots?
That would be the Laowa - 9mm I think? They make a super wide for every mount, zero distortion, pretty awesome (but it is all manual, aperture and focus)

If you’re still there, eat at Biku. Best restaurant in Seminyak, hands down! Such a wonderful vibe in the evening.
We've decided we're going to have to swing back through Bali - we're in Hong Kong now, but we'll put Biku on the list for the return trip. Was seriously impressed with their cuisine, so we were just hitting different restaurants each day and probably only scratched the surface!

Yea, it's all CGI - all of the buildings and people and restaurants and shops were added digitally to the video - we actually just filmed in front of a green screen the whole time.
It is not next to airport...It is sometimes an hour to airport

Good video editing, good footage, sub par personalities. Out of all the travel vlogs I’ve been watching to prepare for this Bali trip, you guys are the most negative personalities. Anyone else notice when watching other vlogs?
Yea these guys have terrible personalities. Why can’t they be funnier or more clever or just more positive and pretend everything is great. Like, I don’t want real opinions or information about stuff, just be super positive and say everything is great like all the other UA-camrs.
