Elderberry Flower Obsession, making fizzy drink, tea and wine

This is the recipe for the "Socata", the FIZZY DRINK - skip to min 02:00
• Socata cu lamaie / Soc...
You need:
approximately 5 liters of water
8 big elderberry flower heads
500g sugar
the juice of 2 lemons
2 lemons sliced
The process:
- dilute the sugar in water, put the flowers in the jar, and add the diluted sugar
- add lemon juice and slices, fill the jar with water and stirr well
- cover the glass and let it sit 3-6 days
- come back daily and stirr well

do try it, it's so easy and cheap. And the wine turned out sooo delicious, that amazing elderflower aroma with a little bit of sweet and sour taste. We got tipsy from it :))))
I tried to make the fizzy drink too, but the weather is always rainy here when the flowers are in bloom 😀 so I enjoy the store baught one 😁. Maybe I'll make wine next year. Thanks for the idea. 😊

@@monicasicoe I don't have them growing wild. I do have three baby bushes I am growing. I'll be putting them in the ground soon. An entire elderberry hill sounds amazing.

Hello dear Domnica! I am also curious about the wine. I took the recipe from a UA-cam channel called English Country Life and I just watched the last part where he uses some finning liquid and got a very clear wine. I have to look around to see if I can find that here or if there is another alternative.
