“New Sun”
Etchings of the dawn embrace the shore,
Golden light unfurls, a silent promise,
Each wave a hymn to secrets told,
As the ancient Soul is carried in saltwater
That crawls up our warm naked feet,
Delivering the kiss of the eternal tide,
Inspiring in us sudden soft morning prayers
That we share, turn by learned turn,
In the hush of morning's sacred glow,
While the sky breathlessly awaits its glory,
The earth beyond pushes up an orange bulge,
Then a breach of light the rays ablaze
Our eyes and hearts are filled with awe
A new sun rises before us as we sink into the ocean sand
