Gonna have to agree with Thomas about Air Race, Harry; the fact that you aren't rotating around your heart is partly what makes it fun. It's the same jank, yet fun sensation you feel on Arrow Dynamics corkscrews. Will agree though, the hangtime you get on certain flats can be a bit much. I did a Super loop at the Galveston Pleasure Pet and it felt like my head was going to explode after I got off. Air Races are better in that regard, as even when the arm guess for slower hangtime filled rolls, it doesn't make your head feel as terrible. Great vlog, as always, Harry. Appreciate the somber ending. The lack of a clear resolution really conveys the grief brought about by G Force's sudden closure.
Interesting that Shockwave is not only the only Intamin stand up still operating; but the ONLY standup to feature a zero g roll. And yeah, speaking about drab parks; my home park (Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro, Maryland) looks drab too.
I love Drayton manor but I'm sad that they're losing so many thrill rides and not replacing them with anything! Still bought a season pass but I would love to see a new thrill coaster in the near future!
The park hasn't had a great run over the past few years. I'm sure they do have some plans though. I can imagine they'll phase into being a park focused entirely on families but that's not a bad thing :)

Positively however, I do love the drunken barrels that was always a childhood favorite

Only Shockwave, Maelstrom, Apocalypse, Pandemonium(as much as the restraints press down on my shoulders) and Stormforce 10 left now. Those alone make it worth the visit though. Idk if I would have enjoyed G-Force because I'm a tall lad at about 6' 4 at 15. Sucks to be me as a coaster enthusiast because I'm nearly too tall to ride anything.😒

I got to go on g-force 1 time, like 7 months ago, I loved it, was then my favourite ride, I was excited to go on it in November for my birthday, but I can’t now ;(
I work there on the rides and I do understand your frustration with some things not being open but you are coming in the first few weeks of it being open people are still being trained some rides are closed because of how cold it is for example accelerator don’t operate if it’s under 5 degrees. Please don’t let this effect your time at the park come back in the summer and more rides will be open I don’t like people commenting about how bad it is when it actually isn’t just depends on the weather and date you go 😊
We had a great time and we do hope to visit the park again this year. The only real shame was the fact that Apocalypse was closed, we didn't really mind anything else. :)

Drayton Manor has become much more of a family park. I can imagine that if they do replace G-Force it will be with a more family orientated roller coaster.
First time I went on Shockwave,I was tall enough to ride (probably only around 12 though), I went down the drop and as I went round the loop I slid up the restraints and my shoulders almost slipped out 😂 Ever since every time I go on it I have to push myself down so I stay in the restraints and flat on the floor on that loop. Still enjoy it though 😂😂
COASTER BOT slightly embarrassing that I’m now 20 and still pushing myself down to stay in the ride 😂 (probably a force of habit at this point) I agree though it’s a fun ride ☺️
Coaster Bot guess what!?! I made a hybrid roller coaster out of popsicle sticks and aluminum. It goes in a full loop but it's not finished yet. I named it the Primis because it means "first" in Latin. Thanks for answering my comments and if you want to see it, it's on my channel.
Sadly I don't think I will go back to Drayton Manor after nearly dying on Shockwave, as I went down the first drop and into the first inversion my restraight failed and went into the position it would be when loading in the station. I have never clung onto something so hard in all my life. Terrible experience.
Fishul well firstly the parts were too expensive to buy as Drayton Manor lost a lot of visitors after the incident and G Force would never get a long queue so they decided it wasn't worth it to keep it open
G-Force was incredibly shit. I felt like it was a bit too rough, and was over before it really even started. But I'm glad I got to experience a rare element. Also, Apocalypse is freaking fantastic.
