KEPT ASKING ME WHY ARE YOU COMING BACK TO INDIA AFTER 21 YEARS ? . I TOLD THEM I WENT TO USA ON PR ABOUT 21 YEARS AGO , MY WIFE AND KIDS ARE IN USA , I WAS WORKING AND SUPPORTING MY FAMILY , I WAS ASKED ABOUT 50 DIFFERENT QUESTIONS FROM DIFFERENT AIRPORT PERSONAL , MY BACK GROUND WAS CHECKED IN INDIA AND USA , AFTER 2 HOURS OF GRILLING I WAS TOLD TO GO BACK TO AIRLINES AND RECONFIRM MY FLIGHT FROM AIRPORT , AIRLINES PUT ME ON NEW FLIGHT , THEY INSPECTION MY LUGGAGE 3 TIMES , THEY WENT THROUGH MY LUGGAGE IN FRONT OF ME ASKING ME IF THESE CLOTHES ARE MINE , THEY ASKED ME MY BACK GROUND HISTORY FOR LAST 50 YEARS .

My 86 year old uncle was stopped from boarding a flight to US at Delhi in March 2024 for the reason that his name was Singh Hazura in passport but Hazura Singh written on visa stamp in the as family name.

I am traveling from Delhi to Toronto via Amsterdam with a 17.4-hour layover in Amsterdam. The flight details are: from Delhi to Amsterdam with Air India and from Amsterdam to Toronto with Air Canada. Do I need a transit visa?
No you don’t if terminal in AMS is same.
No You don't need if You stay inside Transit area. If You want to stay at outside hotel, then Yes Transit visa!
What about return PNR ticket. Normally we are not sure of certain unforeseen circumstances that may arise in a foreign land therefore many of us prefer return PNR tickets to avoid a major financial loss. As a tourist many times we face circumstances such as bad weather in the foreign land due to which our stay may get prolonged by a day or two and as a result either we have to get the ticket forfeited and skip the proposed excursion(s). For first time travelers it's not recommended. If you have travelled a lot then you can carry different PNRs.

About buying separate return ticket, you should know that it is not travelers fault
For some years, more and more international airlines do not sell round fares or tickets. So one has to buy separate return ticket as there is no choice for tourists. Airlines are becoming very greedy and always look for new ways to swindle with tacit complicity of the Govts internationally.
I wrote all this in detail to update you and for knowledge of traveling public.

Just one advice, Don’t every book Airindia (personal experience)if you are travelling 1st time
Air India has their own share of such complaints.
There is court File case with high compensation for baseless harassment.
Definitely airport authority ya imigression oficial has to explain their unjustified action
Sometimes they have proven to be unfair to citizens.
No foreign governments have to justify any kind of action. You can question your government but not other governments. Why don’t Indians understand these basics?
The only problem with airlines in India is the way they talk.. They have no respect towards passengers! They treat passengers like a beggar! Checking for documentation is completely okay and part of their job as the instructions come from Immigration itself what to check strictly. Airlines are forced to check all these things strictly and denying your boarding even they don’t want to do that because denying someone boarding is loosing a client for them. When your destination county deny your entry it’s create a huge problem for Airlines therefore they always put themselves on a safer side. Like I said what hate about Indian airlines they way they talk and it’s quite expected because we all know how educated we are! Airlines counters have low salary people less experience to handle customers and therefore their bad language comes automatically.
Most of the people are writing immigration is good in India because they have given their work to airlines. Immigration doesn’t ask you so many things because they know they have already given a list of questions to airlines and then only give boarding pass!
Last but not least- the situation is bad because of us only.. Settling illegally in other countries forcing Indian government to strict in boarding and immigration!

Airliens departing from India are allowed to over book 5 % of their capacity. So if they assume every one will show up they must refuse boarding by making very funny excuses . There is no such law or policy in effect in which passenger must have return ticket with same airline . Check DGCA guidelines for more info . So what airline staff to they must find soft targets who travelling first time to accommodate other passengers who are citizens & PR of other countries
IATA doesn't allow overbooking. This is not true. Every seat is precisely tied to a reference number and it can not be booked twice.

15:10 The airlines just mark it as no-show, and simply refuse the refund. I was once denied boarding because they believed that I was not fit to fly. I got everything done, but Indigo marked it as no show despite providing all proofs, and did not return a single penny. If they can do it for 20-25k, they are obviously not going to return 70-80k.
Main reason for stopping at airport
1. Fake visa business
2. Overbooking by airlines
Overbooking is now not possible since each seat is aligned to separate ticket number.

They may ask the questions about your landing in a different country. Usually it is recommended to avoid practising it. However if you can answer with confidence then there should not be any problem

Yes, One of my friend boarding denied yesterday by air india. He had a valid canada visa with paid hotel bookings, returned tickets with same pnr, booked local transport tickets, enough show money, forex card, valid itinerary. But boarding denied if he replied every query of boarding officer...

If u have valid ticket then airlines staff has to give boarding pass they can't stop boarding they have no right to stop.. only immigration personnel can stop if we don't have valid documents.. so whenever they stop fight for your right

Very bad system of overbooking, inhuman , cheap , cheating with fellow passengers, why govt is not taking actions against airlines , airline staff is generally very rude , who will teach them lesson ? If airlines staff is rude we also should be rude ?
Bharat, airlines won’t get rude unnecessarily. They become hard on hard travelers. If you are cooperating and answering them satisfactorily then they will also oblige.

Hi i am travelling to netherlands then to turkey and croatia for family vaction. Flying emirates from del then with pegasus to turkey , turkish to dubrovnik and coming back to india on qatar airways as emirates dont fly to dubrovnik.
Due to different destinations pnrs are different. I have both schengen and turkey evisa. Anything else i should be watching out

To avail the drop box facility please check online. When your last visa expires or has expired . It should be less than 3 years .and you should have clean history.
