In 2024, three hairy middle aged blokes smoking pipes in an underpass is what passes for entertainment. I must say that this was better than any of Netflix's recent releases or listening to Spotify for a half hour. So I guess you should keep these coming?

Are there interesting birds in Birmingham? Is it a good place for parrot watching? Parrots are my favorite, but ducks are nice too...and chickens. Ever heard chicken talk? So soothing. They are such underrated creatures. Not stupid at all. And very good companions for meditation or yoga. I don't do either, but if only I had chicken friends I would be relaxed always. Chickens are cool. More bird content! Tweet!

The dedication it takes to be a pipe smoker was always too much for me. Mixing weed with Bull Durham, to mask the smell in public, was as far as I used to go.
Excellent video. 'Out of the Blue' is an excellent album, not overrated. Also Andy, did you check out AFT (Automatic Fine Tuning) yet? They were on Charisma label and should be on your next twin guitar bands video. (I enjoyed that video, despite AFT's glaring absence.)

I agree with the Britanniafile below AND why did I...oh, yes. This thumbnail is a poster and if you are real trash then, a tee-shirt but that would need be changed in shape and cropping to an ovoid frame (on its side). The idea of photoshopping the above actually can't be that difficult to bring the Boys into a smaller more vertical space. Then on a shirt, defmaybe. I have never wanted to visit the islands so much as now and I'll just carve something into that cliffside and discover yet 13 more dinosaur remains, you know, the Iickky-o'-saur, or something, apparently the length of a blue whale at one-tenth the weight. Brits love the Ickthyeosaur - the dolphin-looking underwater dino. Trolls live under bridges and pose riddles to travelers and sometimes eat them, so I hear. I know a guy (passed) named Weiss and he had a song written for him by Rickie Lee Jones called Chucky's In Love. I used to dance with his band, just not drink and dance. It just happened, I'll bet. My 1975 dance style was borrowed by a kid in Compton, 1990, and with his tech he named it and I saw literally my dance fifteen years after its premiere in West Hollywood, the Starwood, and others. The only downside of a pipe is that it smells better when someone else is smoking it (like a camp fire). I think that pipe smoking should be actively promoted - not only for the wonderful smell but for its effect on the smoker - pipe smoking is meditative - the world would be a calmer more pensive place if there was more pipe smoking going on.

Ahhh, thar's a moment...Mister Edwards. Should I thank you for not blocking me? Some d**k brain called Guru Viking (YT) flagged me to YT for writing to his guest speaker a lot in comments. He said I had been trolling, whatever that is. Looking for trouble? I had no YT for 24 hours and I cried the whole night through. The thumbnail is a friggin poster! I'm an "artist" (child prodigy portraitist) and my work was impressive enough to be stolen from my apartment, West Hollywood, 1976. I'm 70 so I will brag a little. In 1970 I saw/heard/felt Jimi at the L.A. Forum in a neighborhood called Inglewood (sound familiar?), right next to LAX (airport) and I recall...Billy on bass, Mitch on drums, Jimi just played, no tricks, I went with him to another place. The audience was stunned into respectful silence and insane applause. Jim glowed blue and gold from the inside. I knew some folk whom the guest knew on Guru Viking's sacred channel. This world is a thousand times weirder than it oughtta be. I did a nice Chinese pencil (wax) portrait of Jimi in 1969 and I stapled the ticket stub to the corner and it's five feet away in a tiny flat in Hollywood where everything is five feet away and r'n'r' is like an ancient ritual or something. I stood in the middle of a huge diagonal crosswalk at Highland and Hollywood last week and sang Crossroads (really loud, from the diaphragm) and no one said STFU. It's a miracle. Tourists openly like r'n'r' and blues (most of them) and KIDS! Kids lose their minds over People's Music, the kind that Rick will never hear. Jimi wore black that night. Guru Viking, having flagged my comments to YT, did not delete the comments. Mister Edwards I applaud your anxiety vid. Meltdown is no joke when you are walking Hollywood for groceries.
