I did notice that rain is getting more and more shorter in duration, instead of rain sprinkling down, its more like a bucket of water being dumped in one go. No rainwear can save you from rain in SEA. You are gonna get soaked no matter what

Weirdest thing about this is that when you are in one place like home which is not raining, then go to another place, it rains, and when you go back home again, it still hasn't rain. My personal opinion, May or June is the best, July is nice but it's holiday season in Indonesia so it would be crowded, August-September is actually good but only if you don't mind hot weather like 35-36°C.
And then you have Canada (especially BC) where the record high is nearly 50C and the record low is -63C. There are areas where the weather will drop from 30C to snowing. You'll go to work wearing winter jacket and be in shorts and a t-shirt by noon.
