Colette answered her calling and gave up working as a pharmacist in 1996. Her dream was to be a full time clairvoyant,medium,healer, and to help others with her insights.

I've done this a lot as part of my practice over the past year, and it's become one of my most reliable ways of getting psychic and mediumistic information. I love it. I do it in the form of clairaudient dictation, however - not just passively allowing my hand to be guided (though that can be a good stepping stone to the former.) The trick is to write down your question, then let your mind go completely blank, in a meditative state. Then, wait to hear a word. When you get a word that won't change until you write it down, do so, and listen for the next one. You should eventually be able to write paragraphs of very eloquent, coherent text without knowing how a given sentence you've started, will end. (I always finish off by writing "Thank you." after the channeled text.) It's a great way to keep clairaudient skills sharp, as well.

Thank you for sharing this! I believe I'm clairaudient, but I've never been able to get full messages nor remember messages from 'daydreams' or meditation. I've just began trying to work on this... To be honest it has scared me in the past so I tried to turn it off... but the ringing in my ears has never quite stopped. I'm definitely going to try to listen now! Thank you!
@@drinkzcoffee5183 I'd love to hear how it works out for you! It's been a game-changer for me. It's important to meditate regularly and keep your vibration high through love, gratitude, trust, joy and enthusiasm when you adopt this technique. Release any fears you have about the process, and get excited for the opportunity! That's the best way to ensure success. Also, it's best to specifically invite your highest possible spirit guides to come through, so you know where it's coming from. Good luck!
@@emilycheeger4029 Good vibrations definitely all around these days, and it's much easier for me to sit and understand exactly what, why, and where those vibrations come from how true they are. I honestly don't know if I've truly 'met' any guides... Perhaps in a dream, but I was I'll and being healed, so there were no introductions... Anyway, I will let you know how things go! Thank you Collette! I've tried this a few times recently, I got a lot of unreadable gibberish and some half-gibberish such as "fill the only one one one. fellow from the wool. under feeling took the truth on the way to victory" and some coherent sentences like "go and take on the world"; "choose the way you best find" and "Willow ready for the truth" (Willow is my sister so I was excited about that one as I want to tell her about my spiritual journey) I was a bit discouraged as so much of it didn't make sense but you have inspired me to try again.
ps. Tried some automatic drawing too, most of them are quite abstract but one of them is definitely a cat!

since my husband passed in sept of 2018, my sessions in auto. writing have become much different. i always ask to speak with my hubby, and i actually get perfectly legible answers now. what i am most comforted by??? i open my eyes to read what i have asked and it is written in his beautiful cursive😀 our handwriting is completely different, w/his being much nicer than mine. automatic writing helps me muddle thru the loneliest/darkest of days without him.💔

Hi Colette. I tried this. What helped me get a word or two was to draw spirals with my left non dominant hand and write with my right hand while I spaced/out I got the words, Love, Merry, Mary, merry you, Gary.

I'm not sure who Gary and Mary are. Lol i guess I'll find out and let you know. I used to know a Gary and a Mary last i knew they were sick. Not related to each other. Gary i seen has cancer on a fb event. He'd not much older then myself. Im 43.

I'm single for many years. I had a thought maybe I'm going to meet a Gary and Marry him or maybe he will be Merry. Or the Gary I used to through friends know hopefully will be okay.

I did this with some friends from boarding school when we were about 15. The spirit stayed with us for a few days and we took her on a day out over town with us. It was amazing and blew all our minds at the time. It was absolutely someone who had passed as we all took turns holding the pen and the writing was immaculate and stayed the same with each pen holder. She told us her name and that she had passed around 1850 ish. That's all I can remember. It was actually a really lovely experience. I do remember it took a long time for anything real to happen but when it did.... wow!

Hi, I started automatic writing about 2 1/2 years ago. It came out of no were after a near life death experience. In all honesty I never really connected to the spiritual world but now I can. Everything you mention in your video makes sense to me. I have done maybe 20 readings to people close to me but that is it. Everything that came through, were amazed and shocked. And I truly believe and honestly say I am gifted. My question to you is how would I protected myself legally? I have an idea that I want to do, but the fear of hurting someone or people if I decide to go with it. To you offer a course or maybe a session of speaking with you?

Thank you I did try it few times but just big mess some letters hard work out what crazy any thank you may have another go only got on brain to me it looks like thinking both they no what they wrote like some taking not move there mouth same thing tome they can do to things I will have to try Blessings Love Light
I tried doing this again last night.
I did get all sort of flashes and and thunder....... not much writing tho'.
I tried the spirals and got a clear image of spirals going on in my thir eye area.
It felt like it was using another side of my brain which I hve nt used for a bit. It didn't seem to appreciate the rude awakening!! ;-)
It certainly did some thing as I say im unsure on what.
Colette as an aside, you seem to be taking on more through youtube; I really would take time to enjoy your new family member.
By the way we have psychic evenig goig in the local town thurs night. I don't really like going out at night atm/driving at night etc and I certainly don't much like forking out 20 quid for it. I feel I should try to make contacts locally if I can.

Well I thought id give this another go last night.
I started drawing spirals.....as suggested here.
I then progressed to drawing squiggles and the idea occurred to me to make those into leaves and incorporate those as a tree; I have seen this done in an art class.
As an assist I am teaching my self how to draw a simple train image for the elderly clients class I help out at. So could this tree idea by Incorporated with my train ...... on the day.
Well I did ask the spirit guides for the help and ideas...... perhaps that's what they came up with?

Totally. I also feel that the branches of your tree show that you are growing with the exercises and extending beyond what you know. and also of course it is a reach out to your elderly folk in class.

u talk about artistry and it reminds me of a time in my first high school art class. we were given our first assignment to do a sketch of our choice. we hadn't been introduced to any artists at the time and when i handed mine in i think i freaked my teacher out a bit. mine was of a clock melting. my teacher showed.me salvador dalis work that was nearly identical to mine. then it was I who was left afright...she asked if i had seen it. i told her only in my head--and now thinking back i mustve been doing automatic artistry? still not sure who was showing or telling me about it though.

i ve always felt key board automatic writing a bit of wimp out...... its got to old school paper/pen/pencil for me :-) that's just iMO.
maybe the keyboard thing would be more applicable to younger generation David lol

I have been able to do automatic writing since I was 16. It’s mostly like listening or feeling what higherself or spirit is saying and then dictate it. I have done a lot of autotyping. Mostly with questions and answer session. Usually quite coherent. I always wonder if anyone would recognize or resonate with what is being written.

I want to know something that nobody really talks about when it comes to automatic writing. Do you just write/doodle and not "hear" anything in your mind (so you don't think anything while writing) or do you write what comes to your mind and trust that those thoughts are from Divine?
it can be either. I hear the words in my head but don't analyse them or even remember them until i read them back. xx

thank you David. the last 8 weeks or so have been such a worrying time with daughter's pregnancy and a few other things. now baby is here and i feel we will all find a routine and more balance. I can never hide how i feel much. i have an expressive face lol . and sometimes my eyes look sad. But i am normally very contented.

How weird. Just followed you a few days ago and i've just been looking into auto writing. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole though. You're just using your body as a ouija board. Kind of.

Another great video but I admit I find this so frustrating because every time I go for a reading I'm told Automatic writing is my thing. I feel embarrassed telling you this as you're published Author, but my hobby is writing. As I'm writing it flows from me naturally. I don't think I just write the story and that's why I think I'm being told this is my thing, but I've sat there doing doing automatic writing excises and it doesn't work. Like meditation I find if i'm forced to do it I'm closed off to it. I love that Nelly's always in the cupboard. She likes that cupboard
I only was first published when i turned 50 .Like you i always just enjoyed writing. so i did indeed feel i would be better at automatic writing but that is not the case lol. my make up is that cupboard and i always forget to close it after i have done video make up. and then Nelly sneaks in ALWAYS when i am filming. sneaky girl xx
