Hey, thanks for including the Flapjack plush! (I’m the owner of the plush) I’m glad you finally touched on it, I appreciate it. Glad to see another great video as usual :)
Hi I have a few questions one: since then have you seen any more plushies prototypes. two: do you keep flapjack in a sort of case ,or what thank you if you respond.
I have a friend whose wife creates all sorts of prototype product designs, including plushies. He told me people would be astounded by the massive amount of unproduced professional level product she has just laying around the house
God I'd kill for a Flapjack plushie, that show's definitely one of my favorite CN shows of all time next to KND, Billy and Mandy, and Adventure Time. Shame that they were never released, even worse that some were probably destroyed. 😢
My brother had the Classic Sonic Jazwares plush growing up so that Super Sonic brings back so much nostalgia to me. Pretty sad he didn’t get released :(
The seller for the classic super sonic plush, wasn't a former employee. I asked him on ebay where he got it from and he responded with these, ''It was a gift a long time ago. I don’t off the top of my head. I’ll see if she remembers when it was from. I’ll have to check if I have any other prototype plush, at least sonic related.''
What I would have done for a flapjack plush, I feel like I was the only kid who loved flapjack as much as I did, and still love him to this day 😢 Toon Link and Flap Jack have always felt like my babies
Maybe no one will remember this character, but on the Punky Brewster cartoon spin-off there was that magic leprechaun named Glomer which got his way in some Punky merchandise (lunchboxes, paper bags for sandwiches, party favors bags, coloring books, some small figurine and stuff like that), but he was also supposed to get released in plush form along with the Punky doll and Brandon the dog (also as a plush). There's even a photo of the prototype alone and boxed on some kind of catalog, but as far as I researched he wasn't actually produced and remained only as a prototype. I'm wondering if it still exists or even if a small batch of them was produced, because the company behind it (Galoob) was absorbed by Hasbro in late 90's and I've searched for him for a while without any tangible results.
Most definitely, when people watch these videos and have something you are looking for, they will jack up that price. Small example, there is an estate sale company I've befriended on my travels. At 1st VHS, I bought where a quarter. Well, a few months ago, I walked into one of their sales. As soon as I walk in, the seller tells me, "Someone beat you to the VHS." Apparently, in the area is another person doing what I'm doing. Well, fast forward to yesterday. I beat this guy to a VHS from the Estate Company, and now they are 3$ a piece. This company used to throw away these VHS until I showed up, and now that people are looking for them, jack up that price.😁
I remember seeing the prototype OOT plushies on YJA when they were separate for 1 cent each and was quite annoyed they ended early since I only got a photo of Ganondorf and not the other ones, so I was just telling my brother who is now very intrigued by them the details without actual photos. I had NO idea that these went up all together and went to full auction and I really thought that a private collector had got in contact with them and asked for a buyout price on all of them, so happy to see someone bring them up and actually have photos of the other ones, definitely one of my favourite lost to found merch instances.
dude ive seen prototype toys start for ridiculously cheap like that its so annoying because people then either dont take it seriously or get mad at you for getting a good deal
I never thought there would be an update to the Flapjack plush case. Also, I was wondering if you would ever cover lost/rare physical home video products in the future?
I'm really glad that all these rare prototypes of lost merchandise are finally starting to surface after all these years! :D Here's hoping we'll find more of these long lost toys!
I'm no expert but those two Zelda plush's look a bit different. Particularly on the eyebrows. One is straight across and the other seems to be slanted as if she were furowing her brow.
i know this isn’t anything too interesting but i remember a couple years back buying one of the Adult link UFO catcher plushes for like $20 from some sketchy website and i still have it, although it’s missing most of its accessories (8 year old me cut them out and used to swap it with other link plushes lol)
@@MortexBerri I'm mostly looking for the one like the prototype. Large cute eyes perfectly proportioned on the face, a even plush head with good body so it wouldn't fall over easily when perched against something. Nice looking cloth material for the clothes. I find the Toon Zelda one very cute, there's not many good Zelda plushes out there.
Dunno if anyone else notice with young Link that there seems to be two versions of him. One that has darker clothes and a triangle/round face and the other being a lighter green and a more square face like the prototype one.
I'm part of the Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers) competitive scene in NYC. The VSAV community at large between the west and Japan often talk about and share images of merch, especially rare merch. I had NO idea such a Morrigan figure existed!! Defintely something to keep an eye out for and something I feel very lucky to have learned about!
hope you do the ROB BOB TRON SHOW! i can't find anyone else who remembers but i do believe it was where they would get into crazy situations and i think it was on the Disney channel but i am not sure if my mind made it up or if it was in a dream or something but i have distinct memories of it but if that is the case i wouldn't be surprised if it was a dream or something
PhatMojo isn't best known for durability wen it comes to figures and mostly make toys based off of popular indie game titles and TV Shows, but I think they are worth a look because they have an insane amount of prototypes (especially when it comes to bendy and the ink machine toys) and if you look in the right places you can find tons of photos of them and UA-cam even has some videos to offer
It's disappointing how lacking Chowder and Flapjack merchandise was. I don't even think Flapjack even had any. As for Chowder, I've only ever seen gumball machine figurines, and even then it was a 4 Chowder characters/4 Fosters Home characters set. I wound up with 7 of the collection and never got Chowder himself. As for the Mario action figure prototypes, I've always been annoyed at how long it took for them to release proper Mario action figures. Would you believe the first action figure set was from the live action movie?
If anyone wants to see more lost/very rare merchandise I made a community post on my channel about a variation of an already rare Chuck E. Cheese plush :)
I have both of the tails plushies,I don't think I ever seen the super sonic one when those plushies were released though,so I'm guessing they were already sold out and never got restocked and they became lost,at least that's how I look at it
Hey! Just wondering if you think you’ll get around to finishing the smash bros spirits merch video series? I really enjoyed it so would really love to see you finish it if you still wanted to.
y'know what i hope to be found? the canceled plants vs zombies scaredy-shroom plush. i've only seen one image of it and it has been documented on the pvz plush wiki. i was trying to find more info about it, but at the time i was way too busy with other things.
Its not necessary a “grail”, but ive been looking for the star fox falco plush (the 2nd one) but hes a bit pricey. I’d like to get that jumpman plush in terms of commonly known grails but im not elon musk so i cant afford it. (Also its in a museum)
I love these kinds of videos and have been collecting plushies and toys for years and found some rare items before at thifrt stores but never a prototype yet but i have found a pretty rare Barbie horse that goes for quite a bit of money on eBay i just love finding things like that
Everytime LSSQ makes a new video I look in my attic for my sonic plush I won in Elementary School and come out empty handed. I wonder what happened to it.
Hey, lssq, do you know about the lost real steel deluxe wave 2 figures? They were based on the movie Real Steel. There are stock images of them, but no in hand images.
Maybe you can add a new piece of lost media rusty and Rosie reading academy and math and science DVD collection. They were never uploaded on UA-cam or Vimeo.

i’d love to see them ^_^ even when items aren’t licensed, seeing something that obviously had care put into it like that is really neat :^)
kellytoy did NOT need to give flapjack a hundred acre shaker 😳
I thought I was the only one who noticed it 😭
HAHAH
IM FUCKING DEAD 💀
I also noticed the plush was rather thiccc back there
They did…
They should be putting these in museums, for all to see. Like a prototype museum.
Too bad there couldn't even be one for the people that are interested
@Sonic Firebird prototoseum
It's sad but this wouldn't happen because it's sadly way too niche.
@Sonic Firebird or the people who own such rare things would refuse to let them go without being paid first.
I got 3 additions to this museum
Lost physical merchandise is such a cool thing to hear about. Especially when it gets found

Thx for making these videos.
What’s crazy is that Kellytoy are the people that make squishmallows now

One of the earlier videogame related "toys" I always forget about are the Street Fighter figures by Hasbro that are G.I Joe size and shape.
Isn't that part of the reason Ken's last name is masters? Because they didn't want to get in trouble with Mattel.
Izzzyzzz made also videos about lost and found toys, like Trashion Alley, unreleased Hasbro toy line where some prototypes were sold online.
