    Thank you for this video! I love the tip to just plan in the High Priority. I was treating everything as High Priority and that was not working. I loved your description of which priority level to assign. Yes, I would love a video about a Do No Do list!

    I'd love a Don't Do List video! I need it for hobbies... I have low energy, a habit of bed time procrastination, and adhd paralysis. I think a "Don't Do" list will super helpful to remind me that the certain hobby I said I do doesn't need to be NOW, or ever, even. Thanks for this video, there were a few gems for me in there!

    Kalyn, it’s a fine video. You did a good job explaining your system.
    Here are some thoughts to consider.
    * Your criteria for determining if a task has a “high” priority were (1) Must Do and (2) High ROI. There is another criterion which is even more important. That is, does the task support a person’s objectives? This, of course, presumes a person has defined his/her objectives. I realize the subject of your video was “tasks” but I don’t think a person can / should ignore his/her objects when managing tasks. (I added some material below on setting objectives.) - - - Establishing objectives will also help a person “Say No” to some tasks.
    * It is a duplication of effort to put tasks in your task manager app and on your calendar app. - - - I use a simple rule. If a task needs to be done on a particular day/time, I put it only on my calendar.
    * You mentioned that you put your tasks on Google calendar. I don’t know what the point of this might be. Doing so also dilutes the value of Morgan, which you are promoting.
    Objectives
    These are statements of a person's desired condition / state at some time in the future. They tend to have a longer term perspective and take at least months, if not several years to achieve. A condition / state is an “end result”, in contrast to a “means to the end”. - - - An objective statement should also indicate when the objective is to be achieved.
    It is important that a person writes down his/her objectives and read them once a month. Why? For a couple reasons.
    (1) Life’s day-to-day demands make It’s too easy to get distracted and lose sight of one’s personal objectives. It’s like the old saying, “It's hard to remember that your objective was to drain the swamp when you're up to your ass in alligators”.
    (2) A person’s objectives will likely change multiple times over a life-time. A person needs to detect when his/her situation changes and modify his/her personal objectives, accordingly.
    Defining objectives can be challenging. In order to help, below is a list of “categories” of objectives. It is a very comprehensive list. Note. These are “categories” of objectives, not objectives themselves.
    * Personal / Professional Relationship
    * Physical / Health Condition
    * Mental / Intellectual Condition
    * Emotional / Psychological Condition
    * Spiritual Condition
    * Wealth / Financial Condition
    * Security / Safety Condition
    * Fame / Reputation
    * Power / Influence
    * Skill / Capability
    * Possession / Property (Things you have / own)
    * Location / Place (Where you primarily reside)
    It is common that a person has objectives for more than one “category” and possibly multiple objectives for any one “category”.

      @@jimgrant1776Thank you! Everything I said here was accurate and did not dilute Morgen. I don’t use Google calendar anymore, but I did attach Morgen to Google Calendar so I could pull in those calendars into Morgen.
