@@zereon P4's anime is definitely an improvement over P5's but it's still just a tv series at the end of the day, it just can't compete against a movie budget, P3 movie's animation is just objectively on another level compared to P4A and P5A. But of course it would still be nice to think about "what if" lol
One of the biggest problems I had with the Answer was Yukari's reaction to everything that had transpired. Being willing to go back in time to save the MC and risk the entire world falling apart was just unbelievable, considering that she matured a lot from her experiences with both the MC and SEES. If anything, she shouldn't have opposed everyone and instead would've wanted to help everyone escape the Abyss. She should've been like Junpei, if anything. But no, she regressed from her development - from a strong-willed girl who actually was the most realistic person in the whole cast to a wreck completely devoted to a guy who may or may not have returned her feelings. That's partly why I wanted Yukari and Makoto to be paired up in the movies. If they're gonna make an Answer adaptation, they'll need a VERY good reason as to why Yukari would go nuts. At the very least, it'd make sense if they did pair Makoto and Aigis, but showed that Yukari clearly has feelings for Makoto, but didn't act on them. And that's why this scene disappoints me. And that's why I hope that they either make some MAJOR rewrites for the Answer movie or not even do it. Or at least change Yukari's role.
Sincerely,I don't think they would even do anything related to The Answer ever again, the purpose of this "epilogue" was to appeal the people who didn't stand the original P3 ending, plus the story are replete of "out of character" scenes (this worked as plot device for the latest battles tho).
TheUpstart "At the very least, it'd make sense if they did pair Makoto and Aigis, but showed that Yukari clearly has feelings for Makoto, but didn't act on them." That's pretty much what the game did, and what they're doing here. Besides, to be fair, we still don't know how they're going to handle the Answer, if at all. What's the saying again? Don't count your chickens until they hatch?
@TheUpstart: I wanna point something out. It was VERY clear that Yukari had feelings for Minato/Makoto in the game, and the game had her be one of the Social Link events too, so one can even assume that Yukari dated Minato. Take either way how you will, whether Yukari dated Minato or not, she definitely had canonical feelings for him. Now here's how I wanna ask something. Even if someone has had development, even if someone had matured, do you REALLY think that a person would be able to just let go and move on? Yukari wasn't like Aigis that was able to abandon her emotions away. No, Yukari's feelings of pain and sadness was stuck with her, something that she kept inside. Persona 4 repeatedly mentions this, but the heart is delicate. Even if you grow and overcome your weaknesses, those same weakness can ALWAYS return. They never go away. In fact, a regress in development and being prone to lashing out isn't actually bad. In fact, it shows Yukari to be even MORE human, because that's exactly how a normal human being would react. You cannot just say that because a character had development, a painful experience won't affect them. The way she was handled could have been done better, I admit, but I am perfectly understanding on why she would take such a big risk like that. And it isn't like we haven't had characters that tried to destroy the world or endangered it for the sake of a loved one before. Those same characters are also sympathized and defended from bashing as well.
I really don't like how this scene is portrayed in this rendition. I feel like the director and writer tried their absolute hardest to overshadow every Yukari moment by forcing Aigis into the picture somehow. I'm glad I played the game before watching these movies because Aigis was actually a pretty cool character in the game, whereas in the movies, she's way too clingy.
does anyone knows the title of piano soundtrack that similar sounds like "burn my dread - instrumental version" that played on the yukari and yuki scene above, before aegis coming?
i just heard the remix of living with determination. i think it's not similar... the soundtrack above seems like burn my dread piano remix, but i can't find it... :(
Yeah too bad that they didn't release it as official soundtrack. It's more touching than original living with determination and the mellow velvet remix.
Wait, I hugged Yukari (and she kinda likes it), then Junpei later on arrived to ruin the moment. If I didnt hugged her, then this will happen? My memory is fogged bout this event coz the game is too old.
This is definitely the better way to introduce Aigis
On my way to steal your man.
Ay bro epic pfp you got there
Shiki pls don’t cut her up, she maybe blonde but the toaster ain’t a vampire.
it isnt stealing if he was never hers in the first place
Not even Yu's awakening in the P4 Golden anime can match how awesome the way Aigis made quick work of those shadows...
I wish the games had this badass Aigis intervention rather than the Junpei cockblock
Yukari: **opens mouth**
Aigis: nope nOPE
Best girl just walked in to save the day, makoto!
...
*flees*
I think she knew what she was doing lol
aigis most badass moment!
U should upload some videos man
Well i did
toaster and door, the great couple
🍞❤️🚪 (there's no toaster emoji🤧)
I didn't ship Aigis with Makoto before, but I think she's the best waifu for him.
That animation is done so well... If only the p5a had the same quality.... Still enjoyable though.
Oh come on, you can't compare a tv series to something with a movie budget, of course this would be way better
@@justs_ p4 anime then

The OST you mention seems to be a remix of living with determination. I already searched that ost for a months but I can't seems to find it.
thanks for your information... the soudtrack of aegis scene "one single world" is very short... im not satisfy with it...

...I think Fuuka's best girl though.
Don't @ my aigis, the shadows cockblocked
You could have a toaster for a girlfriend. 11/10 for Aigis.

The Junpei scene happens either way in the game. This scene is from the movie adaptation.
Aigis is best girl any.
Nothing against Yukari, but Aigis is the clearly the heroine of P3.
