Literally decided to watch La La Land today and after I saw this scene, I immediately paused the film and looked up behind-the-scenes footage because I couldn't wrap my head around this being real. This is amazing. Back to watching the film now.
I just had to write an analysis of this scene for my film studies class and got every aspect of it wrong. After watching this I realise that I know probably less than 1% of what I need to. It's definitely going to be a year.
Three things Ben. First, (in the words of Yaz), The Only Way is Up. Second, if you'd analysed everything perfectly and it had been a fluke, you'd make mistakes later on when it matters. Third, you recognise you made the mistakes, so you've learnt a lot. Good luck with the studies.
