with my one clip from every episode of btvs video i focused more on quick humor moments but for this one i thought i’d include more plot lines/iconic moments which is why its quite a bit longer
The scene between Angel and Buffy at the end of I Will Remember You when Buffy tells Angel that she’ll never forget has to be in my top 5 favorite TV acting moments. It’s so damn heartbreaking not only for the characters, but you can see it in both David and Sarah’s faces that it’s heartbreaking for them as well.
When they were in pileya he had a reflection and he kept messing with his hair as if he didn't like it and he asked cordelia if his hair always looked like that and she said yes like it was bad .
@Chris Echevarrria I guess. I like his hair tho .. ... my issues was in the show Angel he always gave Cordelia gifts that were appropriate for her ( clothes, the necklace ) which implies that he has good taste but in BVS..he kept giving Buffy books like when he gave her Sonnets from the Portuguese for her birthday and he know she don't read
@@dadriamcgregor8346 Before becoming a vamp, he had long hair, he's never been able to see his reflection for 240+ years. Probably why he found his hairstyle weird. He's never been used to it despite having his hair styled like that all this time because he's never seen it
I still have trouble watching Angel snapping and trying to smother Wesley in the hospital after Connor got taken from him. That was the only time for me where he was legitimately scary and that was with a soul.
I really missed these kind of series played on TV...I wish TV2 played back on daily series.. prefer these kind of series played rather than watching UA-cam all the time..
28:56 considering that time Faith gave Angel a empty gun, and when they fought they threw themselves out of the room to the pavement, or getting Buffy to ditch class by sneaking out the window Faith really has a thing about jumping through windows and glass
I wish the penultimate clip (40:24) had gone on just five or ten seconds longer, and had showed the group's unanimous resolution being replaced by the illusion of them all fighting cats and dogs with each other to anyone viewing them through the window. That transition is one of the show's most powerful moments.
@@ShahaniBragaValdezAquino-wl2bg Angel has a kid. Cordelia and him raise the kid. She's a mother to him when he's a baby. The kid gets taken to a different dimension, comes back as a teenager. Weird things happen to Cordy, difficult to explain. She's not herself. She and the kid have s*x. 🤢 She was basically his mother just a few months before, and he's still a teenager. It's just about the grossest thing I've seen on TV.
I'd forgotten about that. The show was kind of grasping at straws. But the last storyline with the lady creating a religion is probably one of the Best storylines that I've seen on this type of show
@@ChrisCreats I searched after I asked XD I didn't recognise him ! then again I didn't know the actor when I watched Buffy, and he only played in one episode so he didn't look familiar when I saw him playing Mando
3:47 “sorry about the door”, the way Wesley changes his voice from threatening to tremendously sorry and sweet is just amazingly funny. Also at 4:14 “that is not appropriate. It’s for killing EXTINT demons” 😂😂😂
It's been way to long, I don't remember all of it anymore. Was great to see, thanks :D (I'm going to watch them again now) Also, I always thought Fred was beautiful, but 38:18 I forgot how stunning she was as as not Fred (forgot the name)
Freds death was so heartbreaking! What some people forget is when Winifred was 'infected' with Illyria it literally hollowed her out! Not just that but when Cordelia died her soul visited Angel & everyone else she loved she said her goodbyes & passed her powers on to Angel. As shocking & very sad as her death was we know she exists somewhere happy and at peace. That's not the same for Fred unfortunately she didn't pass in a comatose state she was aware immensely suffering as her body temperature rose to 'cook' her organs untill they liquefied making her a hollow shell for Illyria to take over. Poor Westley who has loved Fred since the moment he saw her has to watch her suffer slowly dying knowing there's nothing he can do to save her or even ease her pain. She died in the worst pain in the arms of the man that she loved & that's loved her & waited for her & when she died she was truly gone.
If Angel had a nickel for every time someone close to him begged him to kill them he'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice right
Only today did I notice that Skip's shoulder has human teeth forming an open mouth. Granted my old TV was kinda crap, so I may simply have been unable to see such details rather than having failed to recognize them.

love the video, great work, a great reminder of the show!
The episode with Buffy broke my heart
Angel dancing was absolutely a pivotal plot moment.
Think you missed an episode. The episode Reunion which came before Redefinition.
@@rebeccamcdermott9259 nope! didn’t miss any episodes. they are all in order, you can count through them.

the one plothole in this show is how Angel doesn't have reflection yet he styles his hair so flawlessly
When they were in pileya he had a reflection and he kept messing with his hair as if he didn't like it and he asked cordelia if his hair always looked like that and she said yes like it was bad .

16:58 Darla sacrificing herself for connor to be born gets me every time 😭
Me too one of the best scenes in the show.

Ikr literally ugh.
The scene in Five by Five (5:25) where Angel and Faith are fighting in the rain and then Wesley comes and drops the knife is so beautifully done.

so glad you also love herb sanders from baltimore
That was Joss whedon doing the dance of joy
I love you so much I almost forgot to brood!
I always loved when people think so little of Cordelia, and then she kicks their ass. :D

is the rush
I mean, she always seems to come out of it all 5 by 5
Over 40 minutes of ats? You have truly blessed us 😍 this must've taken so much time...but the result is spectacular! Every single scene is perfect ❤❤❤
Wheedon has maybe gotten a liiiiitle too much mileage of that "smash cut to the exact opposite of what was just said" gag.

"Been a good fight yeah?"
This line is even more sad since the actor died from drug abuse😢
I think earlier seasons of Angel 1-4 was the break up & strength of Bangel , and of David & Sarah caring their own show
I will never forgive the showrunners for Cordelia/Connor. That is still the most disgusting sh*t I have ever been subjected to in a show 🤢
frr
I've seen every episode of buffy but not Angel, spill. What is this Cordelia issue
