You probably dont give a shit but does someone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
@Blake Kaleb i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Im always impressed how humble and nice these athletes are. I met Judith Wyder yesterday and she even let me join to run the end of a little run with her. For an amateur like me that was just awesome.
Love love love! This was such a fun series to follow! All the runners should be so proud! And to everyone involved in putting on the GTS and producing these videos, thank you!! 🙏
The production of these videos is quite amazing. Sincerely, thank you for letting us see these wonderful athletes competing in the most beautiful of places. Well done.
that 2019 season was the best. the production is incredible. I understand that covid messed up everything but we need to get another season like this with big names.
I have loved following this years GTWS! I can't wait for next year! I hope GTWS plans on having more races in South Africa...Many, many amazing options, not just Otter! See you in 2020!
Good job on telling some of the stories in the race, like the confusion about whether Maude was still racing, and Stian moving up the field to make the podium.
Thanks for the vids. Awesome! Question: How do you get the shots of the front of the runners coming toward the camera as they continue to run? Do you hook a camera with a gimbal on the to the back of a front runner's pack?
I noticed Greg Volet (Salmon Team Manager) has a credit in the photography section. You can hear him talking with Stina during a downhill section like its a walk in the park. I imagine him with a gimble/go pro is more than enough to capture that kind of footage.
Other than some of the cheesy "announcers", I've really enjoyed these GTWS videos this year. Great camera work and editing. Not sure why they didn't include a recap of the DNFs and then the series results.
I heard many runners goes to wrong way it’s lack of manpower for organizer to help them to show the right way or any indicates put.its amazing coz world classes hikers were there.congratulations for winners & thanksgiving all the hikers.its my country & my pride.
19:04 Kilian mentioned many names, but my English listening is really bad, I can only recognize two names: Davide Magnini and Stian (Angermund-vik)? But Stian is older than Kilian, no way he is "New Generation"...
Once Maude declared she dropped, she should not have been allowed to get back in....and she got back in the race from a different path. So that's 2 strikes, not sure why the commission allowed that. The Bihm shenanigans was BS too. If that many people were getting off course, it obviously wasn't marked well enough. Awesome video though!
Nobody explained what happened with Bhim who came first and then ended up being 7th. Did he miss the actual route and had to run that part again or what?
Yeah last 3 km he took the wrong path and again he went back to where he missed the 2way then he took the right way 3km. And made it to 7th place. He is amongst the world's top trail runner from Nepal (team Salomon).
I have really enjoyed following this series. I would have enjoyed it more if the races that were previously sky running World Series races could have been a part of both. I would be interested to find out why this has not been the case. Perhaps if runners could more easily run both series then there would be less of a device between Salomon athletes and everyone else?
Nah, I raced the 42k as well. There were more than enough markings. Most of the time it did not take 1 minute to reach to next marking. Maybe it was not communicated well enough beforehand how many course markings there are going to be. Because even if you were going slow as soon as you did not see a new marking after a few minutes you should just head back...
I still can't believe how incredibly humble these runners are. Thanks Goldren Trail Series to make this real and show these amazing human values !
19:40 Finishes seventh running 8 kilometers more than other runners.
That's bhim dai for you
Huge respect
It amazing day! Thank you so much all for you! Namaste!
🙏 namaste 😊

Kilian won all of his races this year. Amazing. 🐐🐐🐐
Sage looked smashed but still great to see him smiling. He and Sandy have done so much for the community 👟
The summary videos were awesome, I hope you continue the coverage next year! Highly appreciated!
definitely. It makes the trail running community be a better place.
No thanks to Covid 19 / the fear being spread?😅🤷♂️🏃♂️

What a beautiful and inspiring video. Loved it.
Thanks for the vids. Awesome! Question: How do you get the shots of the front of the runners coming toward the camera as they continue to run? Do you hook a camera with a gimbal on the to the back of a front runner's pack?
I think it must a be go pro mounted on the back of the runner in front.
I noticed Greg Volet (Salmon Team Manager) has a credit in the photography section. You can hear him talking with Stina during a downhill section like its a walk in the park. I imagine him with a gimble/go pro is more than enough to capture that kind of footage.
