I’m in a band from Seattle and we played in Minneapolis this night, the venue flooded and we had to use show shovels to get the water out. The sunset was so beautiful! UA-cam reccomended me this video which is crazy coincidence lol
Me and my wife and baby were driving from Fort Frances, ON to Minneapolis and we manage to hit this storm around 8 pm. Not only us were parked but a lot of people as well due to the high winds and rain going insane. Was an awesome light show though after it passed!!
Thats crazy I was at EHS about the same time stom watching small world! I just stumbled across your channel and never knew, glad to see there are other enthusiasts in my area!
No way! It’s a great spot, up on a hill with a good view of the sky. I saw there was a car with two chairs set up in the parking lot, could that have been you?
@@rosaliejeanne4681 Hi Rosalie! I haven’t even finished watching your video yet but already I’m hooked! I subscribed to your channel. I live in west Bloomington near Bush Lake and it was looking pretty nasty here for a while. Lots of wind and torrential rain but it didn’t last long. I was worried that we were going to lose one or more of our trees but thankfully that didn’t happen. Are you on any of the Facebook pages for storm watchers? And I’m an aviation enthusiast too. There are lots of Facebook pages I can recommend on that subject.
@@rosaliejeanne4681 just for starters, I suggest these pages: MSP Aviation; MSP Only Airport Spotting Page; Airplanes and Coffee (yes, that’s the name of it, and it’s actually a good aviation group); and Captain Jack. I’m an Admin on Captain Jack and I’ll accept your request to join. As for weather, I strongly recommend Minnesota Storm Chasers and Tornado Alley. The latter group has a wider reach and it’s not Minnesota oriented, but I like to keep up with what’s going on in other parts of the country as well.
Hii Rosalie watching the video always love your vids we had storm lilian last week in the UK hundreds of trees down full 🍃 but nothing in comparison to what you have the Atlantic seems to bring the hurricane down to tropical storm, cooler conditions, I'd love to live in the United States some day pls keep these incredible videos coming ❤
Now, this is my kind of place to live. Four distinct seasons. If I were there on the date of this storm, it would be something worth looking forward to. Here in NJ, storms like that are too hit and miss. I also love snowy winters, and here the last 2 have been practically snowless. Some years you can get clobbered with snow, and others you don't even need a snow shovel.
It’s def not the greatest choice, but I was staying local on this day. You should check out MorePi on YT - dude chases monster tornadoes in his Prius! 😳
Awesome storm! Huge anvil overspreading a good portion of the sky in the beginning. Awesome shelf cloud. Quite a lot of lightning!
And nice rainbow too 🌈
Excellent UA-cam channel. I appreciate your camerwork.
Kind words! Thank you. 😊

Also, I see you’re also an aviation fan. Me too! I post my trip reports on my other channel under the name Rosalie Giunta.

Great video! The sky was really dark in my city, but we missed out on the storm warning that night.
We went to lake Lida and on August 26th 2024 we had a severe thunderstorm warning to! On pelican rapids MN

Minnesota didn’t have a snowy winter last year.
That was a great video. Glad you made it home ok! Amazing storm!
Im in Stacy, MN (2 exits north of Forest Lake on 35)... We had 70mph winds and lost power for hours. There was a lot of damage north of the cities...

I was at the MN State fair this day I left at 5:45 ish so before the storms hit...I live close to the MN State fair but the storm hit us hard
I had some trees with damage in the north metro. Many cloud to ground lightning strikes with this one and the 5:30 morning storm today as well
Great vid wonderful, sustained thunder and lightning. The rainbow was frosting on
Wow another great video, amazing end with the flashes and the rainbow ❤ thanks for sharing with us on UA-cam 🎉
Great footage!!
Im St Francis & we had lots tree damage
Awesome display! We don't have that type of weather where I live.
Those tornado warning sirens remind me of the Cold War.
I live about an hour from the city and we got hit hard
I've never storm chased in a Prius before, looks dangerous 😳

Hello Rosalie! Do you speak french? At 4:30 I heard quelque chose and Oh la la la la. :-D
Oui !
@@rosaliejeanne4681 quelle coincidence!! Si jamais tu viens, on pourrait se voir! 😃
I love rainbows!
