- Got some models on makeshift stands and went to Hobby Lobby. The new Green Hornet Black beauty kit from AMT does some with Green Hornet and Kato seated figures as well as the ability to make it clean or with all of the gadgets exposed. Looks like you are going to need to get two of them.
Oh yeah, Godzilla paid my neighborhood a visit (Cue the Green Screen)!

The Kifr looks good. The stand set through the external fuel tank should work if you've set a solid brace inside of it.

I’ve 3 x P-40 (maybe 4 soon), just rolled out 2 P-51 Mustangs (Academy P-51A, Revell P-51B) today with the third (that 1/72 Monogram B model) soon to be FMC. Also 3 x 1/48 Shermans and 3 x 1/48 Atlantis (Aurora) Armored Vehicles. Max, when is the deadline for photos?

@4:33 -- Ah, the model kit approver! Don't buy anything that freaks him out and always make sure to leave scraps for him to chew on!
Actually, don't leave sprue scraps around for the cat to chew. Plastic isn't good to ingest. We humans supposedly get upwards of a credit card-sized load of plastic in our system EVERY week!
And the State of California (like for everything else!) says sprue is bad for you!

Still wonder why the only Tamiya kit that HL fields is the M41 Bulldog. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great kit but there are hundreds of other Tamiya kits. Why only this one? Come on Hobby Lobby?!

Over here Max it’s aircraft that are the main genre, only need to watch a video of a model show here to see, it’s mostly aircraft, then military and cars a distant third, even model car magazines have always failed but there’s several aircraft ones. Model on
I'm not surprised. For a long time, America has been pretty car crazy and I can remember when the yearly new car debuts in September were quite a big deal. We also never had taxes on cars based on engine displacement, although the auto insurance companies eventually penalized those who had "hot" cars. The car culture has been strong, though shrinking here, and the average car modeler in the US is of an age that grew up with that culture.
@@johndillon8051you only have to see the Airfix range over the decades to see that cars is hardly a thing, mainly aircraft and that is still the same. But I agree with you about car culture in the states, with the vast distances there cars are far more necessary, model on
@Sarah-JaneR32 One aspect of car modeling you do see more of in the UK and Europe are 1/43 white metal and resin kits. I've done a couple of nice F1 kits by Tameo and have a resin Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 in 1/24 that is on my build shelf.
Dude, all those models are 40% off, even the gundam? So those gundam at the bottom shelf at 1:14 are like $25. Dude...WT%$&/$$....my ass in freaking Middle of Oregon.....ridiculous.
