hmm, you just don't get it, people hearken to these stories to escape reality, especially right now, they're doing so looking for something to make them feel good, closure, resolution. endings like this provide the opposite of closure, they impart apprehension and trepidation. what's really funny is, just in the time i've been composing this comment i've watched a steady stream of dislikes being selected, easily more dislikes then likes but you apparently have the dislikes accumulation disabled so you probably are clueless....sad.....
