School of Fashion MFA student, Maria Aalto comes back to visits her school, Academy of Art University in San Francisco to give us insights on her award-winning submission into the Rei Kawakubo (Comme des Garçons) MET museum In-Between Fashion Design Contest. As an artist of wearable art, Maria takes her inspiration from the city and her environment to bridge the gaps between graphic design and wearable art.
