Awesome! Getting ready to pair my cinny couple I got from tremper last year. Pretty stoked. Hatchrite is more expensive but for a beginner hobby breeder I'd definitely recommend as incubation medium, one less variable to worry abt. Also tremper's books are great resource for new breeders
So jealous. I've been wanting a tremper gecko for years! I lived only an hour away from him for a good while but I was always waiting for the perfect timing and then things just didn't work out at all. I eventually do want to create a habitat again and then get a tremper gecko although it irks the shit out of me that I could have gone there in person and seen his facility and picked up the gecko and now I'd have to do shipping because I'm many states away. One of these days.... waiting for better times again. 😐 (I know I'll be moving and I'm not getting an animal before I'm settled)

Don't get down on yourself too much. If you really want one I think you should get one (before or after moving). Moving with a gecko is pretty easy. I just moved with 17 leos + 9 other animals..
Love learning about geckos. You are awesome about how you teach. Easy to understand. Just happened in to two geckos. Was told they were males but then started to UA-cam and realized males won’t live together so checked my babies and sure enough, both females. Anyway, had no idea what I was doing and you’ve really been helpful! Thank you!!

leopard gecko feet are so flippin cute. We have western banded geckos, which when fully grown, look just like baby leopard geckos and I'm obsessed. Love the incubator!

@@WickensWickedReptiles For the health of females weight is a big deal. I think the more advanced breeders would say 50 grams but I like to go just a bit more. And if you think about it, that's 10% of their body weight from your suggestion, right? That not just specific, that's significant.
Hi I got two eggs 28 days ago and they are looking amazing but I am having problems with two of my geckos they keep mating and the eggs are bad every time do you know what may be causing it
Sometimes the female isn’t able to produce fertile eggs or if you look under her stomach you should be able to see 2 pink dots one on each side if you don’t see the dots then she’s not ready yet

Hi last year my leopard gecko had a successful clutch of leopard geckos but this year I did not breed her. She has eggs now so I’m not sure if they are fertile or not. I recently put her pay box in but she has not payed any. Is this normal?

well i wasnt intending on breeding my female gecko nala. but i thought i had 2 females because thats what i was told. but apparently not. they where getting along a little too well. and then i lifted one of the hides to find them doing the pose that u talked about. i split them up because i really dont want babies i know nothing about breeding or them laying eggs, and im not sure if my females already pregnant or not..they were together all night so im not sure what to do
I was looking for perlite I saw that you used Miracle Grow the only miracle grow vermiculite I found had fertilizer in it...my question is, is this the only way it's sold and if so I'm assuming if I use that it's ok because it would be what you use.
always go without fertilizer, I found some that had none in it but switched to vermiculite because I couldn't find more perlite without the fertilizer.
What would you say is too aggressive for the interactions? When I first introduced the male they bickered a little and nipped each other but I left them overnight and they seem to be sleeping with each other. He's also about 10g smaller than her (she's 56g ) I'm wondering if he's too small for her.

this was covered in the video. a Leopard Gecko will lay 2 egg sized clutches about 2 weeks apart.

I don't think he is too small, it's hard to explain but if it's too rough, you will know for sure.

morph pairing is a long road of research for sure
