Following along around 21:20- when you preview- the post excerpts field is showing the plain text default value "@{:1:openai_feed_352}" not blank as yours appears. Also, when content is input in post title / body the default "@{:1:openai_feed_352}" doesn't update. (following your tutorial step by step)
Thanks for the video and the plugin, it works well. Now there is the possibility of setting up an assistant. I would like to send a prompt to the assistant via API, how does that work with the Open Ai extension? I can't select it in the backend. Does anyone have an idea?
How can we structure the output in an email with results in different fields, such as putting five different titles in one field, descriptions in a second field... Should we use multiple prompts, one for each field, or can we target multiple fields with a single prompt in order to personalize the email output?
Yeah, you'll want to create a separate OpenAI feed for each separate bit of data you want to collect and display. Then you can use that feed's merge tag to output that AI response wherever you need it.
I currently use gravity forms for my small moving company. I collect peopes names ,phone ,emails , addresses, destination address, and inventory using 2 forms. How would i connect chatgpt to calculate the moving distance and cubic feet based off of customers form submissions....is this possible?
Possible with OpenAI but not our Gravity Forms implementation of it. This would require "function calling" where you provide OpenAI instructions on external APIs it can access on your behalf and use those results in its response. Unfortunately, function calling isn't supported by GF OpenAI at this time. More details: openai.com/blog/function-calling-and-other-api-updates
If you have completions with no prompts, you don't have to go without them. You can use chatGPT to generate prompts for your completions. Simply paste in your data and ask for something like "prompt-completion pairs to train a GPT model in a table format.
I'm trying to use this plugin to parse paragraph text to pull data into a formatted table. It works flawlessly on Chat GPT but I cannot get it to output anything to my hidden field or via live merge tags. I've tried outputting to single line text, paragraph text, and html fields. Is there a limitation on the type of output that the plugin will accept from the Open AI API? Thanks!
Hey Chris, we released the Chat Completions endpoint shortly after this workshop. Updated to the latest version, and update your feed to use it and you should receive the same results you do with ChatGPT.
This is AWESOME!!! We'll done lads.
Thanks, bud! - Dave

Do you have Populate Anything enabled? It is required for Live Merge Tags.

The Assistants API is not supported yet. Thanks for sharing your interest!
Following up on @spivurno's reply - we've captured this feature request. 🙏

@@GravityWiz Can i have gravity forms using the form calculations sum up the cubic sq. ft of inventory submitted by customers?
@@mldn007 For sure!
@@GravityWiz what formulas do I need for that to work?
Where can I get that document you were referencing and the one that Cole was referencing?
Wow! A bit late but here's a link to the workshop doc:

Thanks for sharing, Chris. Was this specific to something we covered in the workshop?
@@GravityWiz 27:45 he's discussing fine-tuning without prompts, just completions.

Hi, How can I have all the eateries to be ALL CAPS?
You can use a prompt to tell OpenAI to return the data in almost any format.
How did @spivurno's solution work for you?
"Could we implement plugins in prompts?"
Could you elaborate on what you're trying to achieve and how you envision this looking?
Is that link here?
