I thought it was gonna go to the 3rd platform, since there’s a track switch there…but I guess it makes sense that it didn’t @19:48 lol from Expo to Millennium
It was unfortunate I didn’t get the full Waterfront to VCC ride, but given the events of that day, I probably wouldn’t have posted the video had I recorded all of it, even though the man survived and it was an accident. Don’t forget, this is the 2002-2016 M-Line. Classic, ain’t it? I was pretty fortunate to have gotten this video, because as far as I know, this was the only train that got sent to VCC, probably to create a space cushion in between the vehicles due to single-tracking.
I have a Christmas/New Years’ Special video with a similarly routed train. It’s taking a while to upload, but keep an eye out for it. I think it’ll surprise you.
I feel like when they expand the millennium line they will use both generations of mk2s in one unit for example 301-302 and 259-260 they might half to paint them to be all white
I honestly don’t know if that’s possible, because the two MK2 generations have different motors. In case you haven’t noticed, the 2009 MK2s make the same acceleration/deceleration noise as the MK3s. It may or may not work - but certainly a very good question.
6:31 I always hear that in my house! Great job! I love mark 1s! This must be rare for you! Keep up the good work :)
yeah
wait u live there at 6:31 loll?
Yep! Very very close@@mark1icreateartvideosskysytgam

Always a treat to see sets 001-002!
Millennium Line Mark I to VCC Clark in service makes me happy.
Very efficient how it follows existing transport corridors
Nice catch!
Thanks Juan!
Amazing spot!
I've had a nice catch at Lougheed station in Burnaby this year.
I've took Expo Line to VCC Clark this year.
Cool
At 13:16 That’s The ongoing construction of the "Gilmore Place" Skyscraper’s witch will be completed in 2025!
I've been on mark 2s to VCC Clark many times.

@@GYTransit Just curious, what happened that day? Wdym by the man survived?
@@thyssenFILMS A man fell onto the track at New Westminster, resulting in a medical emergency situation that lasted hours.
@@GYTransit oh crap, that’s really bad. He’s lucky that it wasn’t the Canada line tho

Sounds less like the fragile rollercoaster ride of the scarborough rt
I wanna know what are mk 1’s and mk2’s because I’m in Victoria and idk what they are
mk 1 and mk 2 refer to the generation of train on the line
Expo Line to VCC Clark
I've took the 146 skytrain to VCC Clark a few weeks ago.
It seems like 145-146 has a knack for being the MK1 pair that always goes onto the M-Line!
lucky you! that must be rare!

They will use everything they have as it cheaper to just add trains so the original expo trains motors are fine and still kicking
@@AlphineWolf but the 84-85 breaks are bad?
@@GYTransit New York MTA mixed both MTA’S together so I would wonder what would happen if we mix both mark 2 trains

I wonder how this train got back safely to expo line without crashing into the white mk2s
simply run as if it was a Millenium Line train, and then seamlessly transition to Production Way expo line train to waterfront at the Lougheed switch.
