Nice catch! It looks like you catched the only 4 car 2009 2nd gen Mark 2 cause all of the other 1st gen Mark 2s and 2nd gen Mark 2s I saw in the video only have 2 cars on all of the other Mark 2s. This also like the other day when they 4 car Mark 1s due to the issue at Scott Road a few days ago. I have a video of that on my channel this kinda reminds me of it cause this has the same type issue that has something to do with skytrain cars
You can make a 4 car consist from any Mk II 2 car basic units , they have full automatic coupling capability. The control center at the depot makes this happen.
I think so. By the time the Broadway extension opens, I’m sure all MK2s will run in 4-car sets on Expo AND Millennium, you’ll see both generations, and there’ll be 3s and 5s in the mix too
@@GYTransit when this train arrived at commercial Broadway on the way back to lafarge lake there was a huge crowd waiting for a train so i think 4 car trains should be permanent? what if we put both gens on 1 trainset?
Was this the day that a power shortage affected the Millennium line from Lougheed Town Centre to Lafarge Lake Douglas? There was only 6 minute frequency at rush hour instead of the regular 2 minutes.

There were two other 4-car sets. You can see both of them at Brentwood and Rupert in the inbound ride
