  • After a 3 day drive from Ontario Canada my wife and are were ready to stretch our legs exploring the Utah landscape. Devil's Garden Campground in Arches National Park was our first stop. We setup and enjoyed our first winter night warm and toasty inside our trailer heated with a wood stove. The next morning was cold, crisp and clear. Just a short drive from Eddie was the Devil's Garden trailhead and in my opinion a must do hike in the park. Hope you enjoy the video and just wait to see what the Utah winter had in store for us.

At 1:11 if you take the road under the freeway from that gas station and up the hill there is a awesome boondocking gravel yard where I spent the night once...so beautiful-even for a gravel lot!

Oh we see how it is! You couldn’t come down a few miles to Northern Arizona and see us! We would’ve shown you the best hospitality ever! Steak dinners open range with campfires huge breakfasts, great beer! And we would have serviced your truck all free of charge! But that’s okay we shall get over it! LOL!!! Glad you enjoyed your trip!

Wow! Your smiles brought back memories from a motorcycle trip through the alps years ago, when I couldn't stop the smile. Great video.

Nature is the BEST designer, eh? I hope some day you two get to explore more of our Western Parks. My hubby and I live just outside Joshua Tree NP and love it but we love so many of them. Yosemite is awesome but I also love King's Canyon just south of that. There are so many. One of the things I enjoy most about your channel is all the green. Living in the desert we love, but ya know, water and trees are mighty nice too. :D Terrific video - that hot shower was well earned.

Your series on Eddie is great! It seems everyone is 😢building teardrop trailers and only a couple building trailer’s like yours. But Eddie is so much more practical! Factory built has gotten way too expensive.

Thanks, after sleeping in the back of my pickup truck my trailer was going to be tall enough for me to get dressed standing up, lol.

You should know that in some states (especially in the northeast) it is illegal to bring in firewood from another state. This regulation is due to the spread of invasive species in the wood (like the emerald ash borer).

We have a Grizzly fire too. Love it and it works a treat in our wooden cabin 👍👍👍

Great video, and spectacular scenery, I have been to Salk Lake and Bountiful Utah through work but never got to see the beauty of the state. We have friends in Arizona who tell us the conditions are also unseasonably cold, wet and windy. I enjoy your videos so keep posting.

I hope you two enjoyed the trip. If you have not already been there, I highly recommend Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, and Custer State Park in South Dakota, which should really be a national park as well.

Hi there, coming from France. I've really enjoyed your build videos very much, you're a clever man...it's the kinda dream I have too. Hey, but maybe fly fishing in Canada is really different from the rest of the world...coz flies don't come out till spring, so you ain't gonna catch anything fly fishing in winter....more luck with a spinner. Just sayin' :-) Love what you're doing, Bon continuation PP.

You did a great job building your travel trailer, most home made jobs
look home made. Did you make your wood stove? It's obvious to me
your an inventive & resourceful man. I'm not impressed easily, good job!
