It's not just in dating that women fear rejection. I have seen this in Corporate American with women having unrealistic expectation in terms of promotions and then they get rejected. Also, I have seen careers stagnate because women are afraid to take risk and fear failure if they try something different, new or a challenging.
I think it’s an inate thing. I think girls fear rejection like that because in hindsight they know the truth. They know that the way they act towards guys can easily be acted upon them in getting rejected. They know that just like they base people off their looks we can also. I think it's everyone fears rejection up until they stop caring what others think of think of them enough to shoot their shots whenever they can. And she was probably mostly hurt because you didn't throw in a couple compliments, maybe 2 or 3, when you turned her down. Sometimes you gotta be blunt or mean about it if folks don't get the message the first time. But more than once it helps to let them know that they're still attractive and viable for someone else to party with, maybe hook up with, or date even if you don't want them. absolutely and not just the dating life but also in the work life. I saw a girl got rejected by my friends and trust me the next day I saw her she didn't even look at me, I mean that girl was crushed for a whole month.
I think it's everyone fears rejection up until they stop caring what others think of think of them enough to shoot their shots whenever they can. And she was probably mostly hurt because you didn't throw in a couple compliments, maybe 2 or 3, when you turned her down. Sometimes you gotta be blunt or mean about it if folks don't get the message the first time. But more than once it helps to let them know that they're still attractive and viable for someone else to party with, maybe hook up with, or date even if you don't want them. She was likely one of those folks and you can never 100% know which they are when the moment comes until stuff like that happens. So you kinda have to save their self esteem when you say “No thank you, Nah I'm good, Sorry I'm with someone”, etc.
Honestly I feel like you really ain't really that fine if most girls ain't SCARED to approach you. 🤷🏻♂️ You might be cute, probably somewhere between 5'9"-5'11", look harmless and approachable. Edit: I live in Souther California and I disagree with the notion that people don’t move here to settle down or that they don’t have the mindset of someone that is looking for a long term relationship. Perhaps it more so depends on the age of the person but there are many people like myself, that just enjoy the laid back and friendly vibe of the west coast. I found it much easier to talk to women and ultimately find love since I moved out west. Just my opinion based on my experience.

That’s such a childish way of thinking. For religious reasons, I’m not mingling with any girls. I’m too young; waiting for marriage, but when I was, I understand how it works. If you get rejected or you WERE talking to a girl and now you no longer are talking to her, don’t make things awkward by actively REFUSING to make eye contact with them. I believe in retaining good relationships with people. It’s simple to just smile and or wave at them and move on.
