All 3, starting with the Deep Purple 14 Pro Max feel like home to me. I own the 15 Pro Max in Blue Titanium (Blue being my favorite color/colour for the Brits 😂) and Black Titanium 16 Pro Max. iPhones are home for me, but I only like small iPhones. I’ve only owned small iPhones since 2012. I bought an IPhone 5, then I replaced it with original iPhone SE and then replaced that with iPhone 13 mini. Perfect size and form factor for me. I’m gutted I can’t get another new model small iPhone.
I had an Android phone for two years after being a lifelong Apple user, and I loved it. It felt modern, cool, it did things iPhone couldn’t at the time , and the photos were spectacular. Can’t remember why, but at some point at about the 1.5 year mark of having it, I had to put my sim back in an old iPhone I still kept, and I remember the feeling, like a hug from grandma after coming back from college. I decided I would appreciate Android from afar, but never to switch from iOS ever again. I thought that feeling of “home” was just me being hyperbolic, but I see I’m not the only one!
My mrs after using android for 6yrs decided to have my iPhone 14 Pro Max after I’ve upgraded to 16 pro max and after months of trying to persuade her she decided to join and my god it’s like Xmas has come already. She quickly realised the upgrade on the user experience and features. Within three days of switching she’s bought the iPad Pro 11inch, air tag and Apple Watch series ten. Talk about going all in. Makes me proud seeing her fully integrated in the ecosystem
Had iPhone from 3GS to iPhone X, then moved to Huawei Mate 20 Pro, then Samsung Note 9, then S20U, S21U and then Fold 3 & Fold 4… moved back to iOS with the iPhone 14PM and I’ve dropped deep into the Apple ecosystem… iPhone, iPad Air M2, MacBook Air M2 and AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Max… and Apple TV 4K… it all just works perfectly together! Just about to upgrade to the iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max… can’t decide which one to go for; size vs battery life battery 🔋 🤔
Like every other person that switches from iphone to android they usually go back to apple, i' one of those i sold my s24 ultra and got the white titanium 16 pro max and i just love the iphone. I've said it before iphones are just smooth, polished with buttery smooth animations and have amazing cameras pictures/videos. I just keep coming back to it.
Im planning on selling my s23U to buy 16PM because of the battery tbh and how smooth iphone is. After using 13 PM then s23U, i realized how diff ios is.
Especially with other people close to you also on IOS, my wife, 1 of my daughters, niece, mom, it’s all seamless & so easy, it definitely feels like home to me
Went from an iPhone 15 Pro to the 16 Pro Max for sake of size and battery and it’s night and day! The battery lasts me a day and a half. After seeing the desert titanium in person, I’m glad that I went for the white titanium and this year it’s a true icy white ❄️ compared to last year’s white. No regrets!
My Xiaomi from 2019 still lasts me 1.5 days on a single charge. Because Mediatek modem is better optimised than Apple’s. I do think iPhone camera and speakers are out of everyone’s league, but I really don’t miss having to worry about charging my phone after taking photos somewhere abroad, just bc camera app is a battery drain in itself. Or the $600 replacement bills, bc the entire phone is made out of fragile glass. But then again, social media compatibility ain’t there with Androids.. it’s time for them to join forces and create something in the middle.
@@Jetsnow4444 The overheating was a problem for my 15 Pro as well! The larger screen is better to watch content on and I use my 16 Pro Max > iPad Mini 6 now for a better quality screen and brightness. I edit photos and take videos a lot so that helps too! Downside is putting it in your pocket, but I put it in my back pocket so it’s not bad at all.
You said it right! IOS feels like home. I’ve had iPhone since day 1 in 2007. Switched a few months back to a Samsung S24 Ultra and it’s undeniably a great phone. Many features IOS doesn’t have and I get why people love it. That said, for my use I did end up missing IOS and switched back to an iPhone with the 16. Just does what I want and need it to do better. Also, switch your camera control to require a double click to activate the camera. I was constantly accidentally opening the camera and was driving me crazy. Double click has eliminated that issue for me!
I used to be a Samsung fanboy. I switched to the iPhone about 5 years ago, and stayed for the ecosystem. But these days, it feels like home to me too. The camera is probably the single thing that is just insanely good. I honestly struggle to take a photo that doesn’t look great every time. It’s just so easy when you’re out and about to take excellent photos. Not a single one is out of focus, etc, and it requires zero fiddling or effort (other than avoiding the stupid side camera button). What else do I love about it? A huge number of things that are not immediately obvious to almost anyone who doesn’t use them regularly. Example (nothing new), I don’t need to know where my apps are on the screen or even have any of them on my desktop because the swipe down to search for apps knows me so well, that it shows me the app I was looking for 90% of the time before I even type the first letter of the app’s name. It’s things like sharing arrival time or pin drop location with other iPhone users. The ability to send almost anything from iMessage, from regular messages, to GamePigeon games, to cash, etc. there are minor things, but they all add up.
I literally just returned the 16 pro max. I currently have an S24 Ultra that I switched to after years with apple. When I switched back to the iphone I immediately realized that I have really grown accustomed and appreciative of how android works. The universal back gesture that makes one handing a phone that size possible, the strong haptics with the keyboard on gboard, Android Auto, intergrated Gemini/ google assistant, the display to name a few. The only thing I really missed when I went back was the camera, apple watch and FT. For some reason video calling on the s24 really struggles in low light. It looks like I'm just an android guy now. To each is own!
I do not always share your opinion but I highly appreciate that you have one and that you not just repeat what it’s told already many times before. You would definitely being qualified for a “why some people update their iPhone every year” video 😊😊😊
I had the pixel xl 9 and srnt it back. Then i got the iPhone 16 pro max and now i was reluctant putting my sim card in my pixel xl 9. I just love the feeling of it and the automatic password entry. I just love my iPhone.
I've had galaxy notes since 2012. Last year I got a Sony Xperia 1 mark V. No. I'm not annoyed by your vids about i phones. Not threatened at all fella. 😉 *Rated* 👍
I really enjoy your reviews, in depth, jargon free and always objective, thanks for those. I suppose I am on my 8th iPhone and actually still have a working 5 as an emergency back up so yes I love them. I did elope with Samsung for a few months in 2009 but it wasn't for me so I came back to the family and now am a total "Ecosystem" drone with all Apple tech. I have had the Pro Max versions since they launched and really appreciate the larger screen, I traded my 15 Pro Max for the 16 Pro Max last month and am very pleased with the product. Screen superb, controls excellent, build quality unsurpassed and a terrific camera. I actually like the new camera button which works a treat preventing me from losing grip and poking the screen. I am impatient for the AI but there is nothing we can do to hasten its arrival. As usual unpacking was a joy and the instant set up with seamless integration into the "Ecosystem" makes it all worth while for me. Of the 10 or so iPhone users in my immediate circle all of them jumped ship to Samsung, Sony etc at some point or other but all returned to Apple, perhaps just coincidence.
I completely agree, particularly with how good and reliable the camera on the Pro models is in all sorts of conditions, and the photos look natural not 'improved' without any editing or fiddling with settings - compared to photos taken on many flagship Android phones. This alone makes it worth the investment in the phone. Whilst this may not be important for many who just share snaps with WhatApp with the terrible image quality, I still like having large photos printed for myself and others, and one truly appreciates how great the camera system is on iPhone Pro.
I used iPhone for years, in meantime, I had many android flagship phones, but I always back to iPhone, it's simple, very good support, service, iOS with native call recording, battery life, value for money, I use iPhone 13 pro max and Xperia 1 V, honestly, iPhone ist King, there is no perfect phone, but with iPhone, you will never go wrong.
What do I love about it? The new display size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is immersive and the smaller bezels make it look more 'futuristic'. I love the speed. And the quality of the video.
Beautiful child. I recently received a 16 Pro Max to replace a 14 Pro Max. Seems a bit faster than the 14. Maybe that is just in my head. I have begun to see Apple intelligence features as a beta user. Anyway, the only Android flip phone (samsung) that is a couple of generations old. I did not hate it but despite using a lot of Google features, I am way to tied to all of the Apple services to start over. All of my Apple devices are of a particularly high quality. Besides, I turned 70 this year and probably only have three or four upgrades left in me at this point. So, at this point it is Apple to the end.
I feel home on/ with iPhone , since I tried the iPhone 6s many years ago, and bought soon after my first iPad I got stuck with Apple, cause it just worked and works so smooth and friendly. I am very satisfied with the working/using experience. I started the aera of smartphones on Android with HTC, later Samsung Galaxy and Sony Xperia, but since I owned my first iPhone it stayed my Number One, all the years I used besides Sonys Flagship Xperias, which I loved and still love, but for me the iPhone user-experience is much more congruent and smooth and it is reliable whenever I need it.
I tried 2-3 years with android as an experiment as thought I would see what all the fuss was about on the ‘other side’. It was a fun time and tried lots of different makes but never Samsung as hated their UI and displays seemed over saturated to me. Returned back to iPhone and yeah so happy to be back. I prefer simplicity and ease of use over hackability and tweaking.
I started following you when I thought I found a real iOS -> Android switcher. I had already seen loads of videos of “switchers” that turned out to be clickbait after a few days. But you sounded really legit. Turns out I was wrong again. Suppose when the S25 Ultra releases the yearly cycle starts again? Happy switching! I would suggest regular people viewing all this don’t take the advice too seriously and stick to the ecosystem they’re used to. Unless they sit on a pile of money.
I have a iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple uses since forever. I got myself a Pixel 9. And after an adjustment periode I actually loving de Pixel more. It feels more snappy and the software works great together. The Google experience. The build quality is also really good on iPhone level. And it feels better in the hand to me. Packaging is also better than it ever was. I am really surprised at my Pixel 9. Now I am at a point that I really could rock an Android/ Pixel 9.
It’s funny because my journey was almost the same. Went from iPhone to s24u now to 16pm. S24u is an awesome phone but the 16pm has been really good because even though it’s not as fancy everything that works just works really well. Everything just feels like quality. Passwords, face unlock, Apple Pay, etc.
Switched to Android 4 months ago, really enjoyed it. However with the Iphone 16 pro max coming out recently, I'm going back! I changed to android for flexibility, but I was always trying to treat the Samsung s24 ultra like IOS device.
Hey Mark, i think the fix to your accidental camera control button press is to select the Double Click option in the Camera Control settings in the settings app. The Single Click option is just a nightmare. 😊
I agree on trying other operating systems out. Personally, iOS (more specifically, the combination of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS) works best for me. But I always keep a Pixel around, mainly as a second camera, but it’s nice to have the ability to check out the latest of Android. And I do really love Android too. Sometimes I’ll switch to it for a few weeks. But I always come back to the iPhone. And it’s not because I think iPhones are better… just that they are better for me.
Hi I am a very long time iphone user and switched to a s24 ultra. I love the productivity of the s24, s pen, split screen which I use all the time. The biggest thing is call coverage in an average rural area, the s24 is way way better than iPhone, for me that is very important for my business. The eco system took a bit to get used to but I don’t think I will go back unless Apple improves on coverage. In my opinion if you are into art stuff the iPhone is very good but if you want business productivity you can’t beat the s24 ultra plus the camera isn’t too shabby either. Don’t get too hung up on which is better, it would be pretty boring if we all liked the same thing. All the phones are getting very good now, it is what fits you the best.
I got the 16 Pro Max in Desert Titanium. It is such a stunning colour. I spelt desert as dessert at first before I corrected myself. However you spell it, the 16 PM is still a treat.
Switched from my s23U to the 16PM and i have loved it. Havent had an iPhone since the 5S, but ive been in the ecosystem with other devices. On the camera control, i have only pressed it by accident once or twice, and actually found it quite useful. Though I do use a case (The otterbox one with the actual button on it) and have big hands.
Excellent video mate. I am a brand new subscriber Love your material thanks for the informative videos I've been an Android user my whole life but I am thinking about making the jump to iPhone so you analysis is greatly appreciated. Cheers from across the pond in Colorado
android definitely feels home for me. i just want to be able to make my phone my own. last iphone i had was the 4, until apple decided to make my phone unusable after updating to ios 7. switched to android and never looked back. currently using the s24 ultra. that screen is just a marvel to look at.
Yes, I ventured into the Android world with Samsung Note devices (i.e., 9 and 20U), which were wonderful, but when I returned to Apple, largely because of the M1 Pro, I did indeed vastly appreciate the return "home". There's just something about an Apple device that sets it apart from others--meaning no disrespect. Also, Apple support and the universal roll out of software updates, besides the seamless ecosystem, is simply the best. Period. None of this is novel but they are key reasons I'm upgrading to the 16 PM.
I've been using the fold 6 since it came out this year, after using an iphone for the last however many years. I've just had the Iphone 16 pro sent as a work phone and I cannot see I would ever go back to this as my main blower. There is barely any change to it at all, and apart from the camera its lagging way way behind the Sammy. The only thing I'd look at now would be the S25 ultra, but againt the form factor of the fold is perfect
Having just ordered my 7th Gen iPad Mini, the fact that it doesn’t have Pro Motion means that I’ll probably be upgrading to a non-Pro iPhone - as of right now, not sure when. But thanks, as always, for the content.
Mark i think we have a problem, ive gone from a Galaxy fold 4>Iphone 15 Pro Max > Iphone 15 Pro>Galaxy S24 Plus>Galaxy S24U... whats our condtion called?
i am a android user since 2010 (Samsung) but really tempted to switch now to Iphone 16. I had a samsung s22 Ultra but i lost it when i was traveling. Now the only thing holding me back is that everyone says the battery is crap. So now to my question can the Iphone 16 pro hold a whole day without charging? i have around 5-6 hour screen time or do i need to go for the max variant ( was looking for a smaller phone) Think the Max is almost same in size as my s22 ultra was. Thanks for a great video
Tried Android a few years ago with a tablet and hated it. Been with the iPhone since 5C and can't see me changing in the future. Also have their watch, MacBook pro, several iPads. I understand some want the ability to personalise, that Android offers. However, as a fairly non tech guy, I want a phone (in particular) that just works great out of the box, and which I can make small tweaks to if needed. iPhones (and their other gear) gives me that consistently. Finally, I'm not a regular 'upgrader' so I love that fact my iPhone 11 is still great after 5 years and my MacBook works fast after 10 years, this makes the initial high outlay to buy good value over time. Love it! Both my daughters have been through several android phones in the time I've had one.
I’ve just come back from Samsung and ditched every device. An expensive experience but I wanted back in the ecosystem 🎉 I really love my iPhone 16 pro in Desert Titanium. I got a mint used watch 9, and iPad Pro 11 256gb M2. I would have swapped this for the mini 7 but my pro 11 feels mini compared to my Tab S9 plus 😂. Battery life on the iPhone 16 pro is amazing and ALL APPS WORK BETTER on iOS. Cheers Mark
Mark... isn't there a setting where you can make it two clicks for the camera button? That would help not get the accidental clicks... but then again if you take pictures often it may not be practical. Appreciate you and your work. God bless.
I always had pixel phones and now I got 16 pro and really love it. The iOS is very fun to use and pictures are very clear and better than my pixel 7 Pro. Everything iOS does it does it better than android. Some features are missing, but not very important ones
Been larger size since the 6+ days. Despite it not making people happy, ecosystem is why I've stayed Apple. I can text/call from any device and it works for me. Competition is a MUST so go Android and I hope more people choose it. I have chosen Apple and I like it. I've pretty much given up on iPad and have been reading books on my iPhone 15 PM successfully (landscape mode) (finished a handful 300-500 page books on this phone over the last year).
My iphone is my back up .... My main device is Android... Always will be Android .. simply because i want full control of my device... Love the freedom, customisation... I dont want apple regulating what i can and cant do with MY device.
Had the first iPhone , then switched to android after that, primarily Samsung, went back to apple with the iPhone 13, not a fan of iOS, but one thing that stands out is that. I’ve never cracked an iPhone screen or back, iPhones in general seems more robust than most android based phones, I’ve got the 14pro currently, with 92% bat capacity, and not a scratch on it.
A 16 Pro Max owner and really enjoying it so far. I always end up coming back to Apple. I can't get enough of the slickness of iOS. Only just realised how useful MagSafe is as well. Picked up an Anker 10,000 mah Slim battery and a new MagSafe wallet this week. Talking of which, are there any concerns about the Magnets damaging debit or credit cards? I'm not sure where i've got that from, but still.
Well, I use an iphone case with cutout for the Camera control button, never have i ever pressed it accidentally. The cutout also makes for an easy to find way to locate the button.
Snagged a brand new one in green from the store last year, one of the last. Love the thing. Powers through everything I need , good size and fits perfectly in my shirt pocket when needed. The only thing missing is a decent macro lens. 👍🏼
Brilliant video.. Excellent to watch, recently upgraded from an iPhone 7 to iPhone 15 plus. Battery life is absolutely amazing..will you be reviewing the new iPad mini 7 I'm interested to hear your thoughts.
I work in IT and got bored of fixing or excusing things which didn't work as well on other platforms. This is true of Android, Windows etc. I don't need half-baked features, I just need my device to do what I need when required. This may change in the future but for now, at least, I find Apple's products to be more consistent if not as exciting or feature rich as other platforms.
Im a Android user for like 14 years, i tried iphones but i never got used to it, there where many things that annoyed me, but you are right in everything, apple is consistent and safe, and honestly the best support. Android is all over the place, no consistently its like you are a consistent beta tester. (My first iphone was the 6s plus)
Yes the camera button sits right where I often hold my thumb when I grab and pic up the phone. I have turned the button off so now nothing happens when I press it. I didnt use it anyways.
Currently own a 14 Pro Max, with which I’m happy. Can’t decide whether to get this one or wait. Trouble is, I want to treat myself with - something! I’ve now got all my technology sorted and while some of it is two or three years old, I don’t really *need* to change anything 😢. Bummer.
If your budget allows for it I would say its worth it. I made the change from the same phone. The 14PM was great as it had a great camera, it was also a tank + buttery smooth . I would have held it for another year but the battery was enough of an issue to convince me . The downsides were the battery, the 6GB ram was an issue with apps refreshing whenever you switch and the phone ran too warm for comfort. With the 16PM. You can get a day and a half battery, runs significantly cooler and the most underrated improvement is that USB-C port. Hope that helps with your decision :)
I have a 14 pro max and am thoroughly bored with my phone but also like the dependability of it. So my compromise to adventure was to buy a Samsung tab s9 plus. It kinda works!!
i got iphone 11 64gb black can't wait i will be ordering 16 pro max desert titanium 512 gb hopefully next week i am tired of charging 4-5 times a day and storage and 828p display and low knit brightness
You have a beautiful kid. God bless him. And yes, I agree with you 100%. For curiosity, I asked my nephew to let me play with his Samsung Galaxy phone and I just didn’t like it. It was not for me. I have had iPhones since the iPhone Gen 1.
I had two and a half years of iPhone again. A Pro Max. It was nice, but iOS works on my nerves again now. And the iPhone 16 phones are as ridiculous as the launch event was. iOS 18 is really buggy too. It's back to Android for me for a few years. An S24+... I guess I didn't want to move too far away from the iPhone feel.
Return the pixel pro fold 9; android was very nice but the folding is a little bit clunky. Came back to Apple 16 pro max (from a 12 pro max) and I'm very happy. I like action and camera button, everything work well. But I could as well be on Android, difference are not so large.
I had a iphone 6plus and then years after that I bought two samsung galaxy's but I went back to apple this year and I bought the iPhone 16 Pro Max this year I can't wait to get mine and I am not going back to samsung ever again team apple all the way.
The irritation with the camera control button drove me to switch it off in accessibility and now if I want to specifically have a camera I switch it back on, didn’t Apple realise most people hold their phones vertically, when I get around to it will use a shortcut to do it if possible🤔🙂
Currently, using the S24U but considering returning to iPhone and getting the 16 pro. Id like a smaller phone and since I have an iPad pro and macbook it just kinda feels like its time to come back. But the S24U is excellent.
Love S24 ultra for it’s capabilities and Android in general for its functionality.. but it doesn’t matter whichever best 200x lens camera you have, if Social Media compatibility ain’t there and you end up sending people blurry compressed files that look like they come from 2015 we got a problem. And that is my main issue. IOS drives me crazy.. why can’t I just click on the app and go immediately into its privacy settings or app controls.. I have to dig that info somewhere in the Settings.. the super slow charging. Most people that I’ve seen that use Pro Max’s “for better camera” are not really using any settings within the camera app - not even contrast, so I suppose that when this type of person goes to a mini-tablet S24 ultra with a pen they’re not planning to use either, it all looks too complicated to them.
They actually did not "increase the starting storage" at all, it's an illusion, the price is actually factored in. All they did was remove the option of 128 gb, now folks think they are getting more storage space for less money 🤣
@@Lubbic1the starting storage at 256 is absolutely necessary though if you plan to use the new 4k slo-mo feature that takes up lots of space. they would be setting people up for failure with 128 gigs. i decided to just upgrade from my 12 pro 128gb to 16 pro max 512 gb. better deal in the long run rather than running out of storage and having to pay lots extra for icloud storage.
@@gianna8748 I dont think you quite understood what I said. You are not getting a deal, youre paying the exact same amount as you normally would for 256 gigs. They just removed the 128 option for the cheaper price.
If you get the correct case the camera button doesn’t get pressed accidentally. I don’t personally use it and would prefer it wasn’t there. Apple definitely dropped the ball with this addition and it feels like they did it so the phone wasn’t basically the 15 lineup all over again. It’s still a great device and I’ll hold on to mine for 3-4 years.
When I came from iPhone SE to a iPhone 12 mini I continuously pressed the power button. Got used to it after some time. 😅 I still like the power button to be on the top though.
I went from the 13 pro max to the 16 pro max. I don’t think I could leave iPhone. I tried once for the s22 ultra and it was a bad experience. Kept turning off and freezing and I don’t use a phone to its max potential.
I love the weight of the iphone it feels heavy and premium. Although some people think the pro max might be too heavy for them, i have never liked light phones because they just feel cheap. Iphones just feel like you're holding a good piece of hardware.
Which phone feels like home to you - and why?

I've said it before iphones are just smooth, polished with buttery smooth animations and have amazing cameras pictures/videos. I just keep coming back to it.
Im planning on selling my s23U to buy 16PM because of the battery tbh and how smooth iphone is. After using 13 PM then s23U, i realized how diff ios is.
Currently using iPhone 15 pro but Samsung is buttery smooth too .
The iPhone definitely feels like home. I love all the things apple offers. The Apple Watch, apple fitness, notes, reminders ..they’re just solid.
Especially with other people close to you also on IOS, my wife, 1 of my daughters, niece, mom, it’s all seamless & so easy, it definitely feels like home to me
@@vikingnorm6935 same with other eco systems .
No regrets!
Duh. You had the Pro and upgraded to a Pro Max. The battery 🔋 is a major jump. The 15 Pro Max is right on par with the 16 Pro max and it’s sad.
those are rookie numbers. My sub 250 android phone last me about 2.5 days
I'm thinking of making this change. For battery and I hate how hot the 15 pro gets. Are there are any other reasons to upgrade though?
@@Jetsnow4444 The overheating was a problem for my 15 Pro as well! The larger screen is better to watch content on and I use my 16 Pro Max > iPad Mini 6 now for a better quality screen and brightness. I edit photos and take videos a lot so that helps too! Downside is putting it in your pocket, but I put it in my back pocket so it’s not bad at all.
I’ll never go back to android , 16 max 😅, your son is a doll ❤.
I came to see iPhone features and loved the way you made the video and the cuts, the quality. Insane. It’s like art, keep it up bro.
This means a lot - thank you!
My Galaxy Fold5 does all that. Plus, huge screen for sketching, marking up photos, gaming, watching video etc. It's a pocket folding iPad mini.
First two setting learned after picking up my 16 Pro Max:
Settings/Camera/Camera Control/
Clean Preview: off
Double Click: check
🤗
16 pro max here. It’s just beautiful. I’ve never held or seen a non-Apple phone that came close.
You have that with Google password manager too
I've had galaxy notes since 2012. Last year I got a Sony Xperia 1 mark V.
No. I'm not annoyed by your vids about i phones.
Not threatened at all fella. 😉

Just set the camera control button to double press to open, first thing I did and no issue since
What do I love about it?
How's the 14PM doing now 2 years after its launch? Is it lagging?
Mate - another great video! You’re fast becoming my fave tech reviewer - good, honest content 👍
Ah, love this - thank you!
Feel like home. Spot on. There’s something about the iPhone & iOS that Android currently can’t replicate.
Oh I genuinely hope that regular people don't model their smartphone usage on UA-cam reviewers', mate.
I have an iPhone 11 and want to upgrade my phone to another iPhone. Could you suggest which one I should get?
I have a iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple uses since forever. I got myself a Pixel 9. And after an adjustment periode I actually loving de Pixel more. It feels more snappy and the software works great together. The Google experience. The build quality is also really good on iPhone level. And it feels better in the hand to me. Packaging is also better than it ever was. I am really surprised at my Pixel 9. Now I am at a point that I really could rock an Android/ Pixel 9.
Battery is awesome on the 16pm…. Took off charge today at 9am… it’s now 10.43pm and my battery is still 45%! And I’ve used my phone loads today
The iphone is a great device. I went from 11PM to the S22U. I switched back to the 11PM. I'm waiting for the 17PM since my 11PM is running ios18.
To mitigate accidental presses you could change it to double press in settings or just turn it off altogether.
I switched back to the regular pro last year and I’m thinking about going back to the pro max. How do you like the max this year ?
Awesome, thank you!
Looking forward to more videos@@MarkEllisReviews
I think you can turn off the camera control, or can change the sensitivity of it, or its function
android definitely feels home for me. i just want to be able to make my phone my own. last iphone i had was the 4, until apple decided to make my phone unusable after updating to ios 7. switched to android and never looked back. currently using the s24 ultra. that screen is just a marvel to look at.
Delighted with mi 16 pro max, and the desert titanium looks superb.
Mark i think we have a problem, ive gone from a Galaxy fold 4>Iphone 15 Pro Max > Iphone 15 Pro>Galaxy S24 Plus>Galaxy S24U... whats our condtion called?
Interested in Tech Syndrome.
i am a android user since 2010 (Samsung) but really tempted to switch now to Iphone 16.
Love that transparency about iPhones driving engagement
Thanks for posting!
It doesn't zoom. It crops. The lens does not move, and the focal length does not change.
Stop ruining Christmas, Robert.
I want one but the colours are dull this year, I have the iPhone 13 pro max and lo e the blue, owner if they will make an additional colour this year
Next year. Why I switched back to the Galaxy S25 Ultra!
Yes but he would never say it’s “home”.
Smart man!
God bless.
I don't think there is... still not sure it'd help me overall with it though, I'm afraid! Thanks for the kind words!
@@MarkEllisReviews Mark, under settings>camera>camera control>double click. I just checked ✅
You can even turn it off
I love the camara control it’s epic when you get used to it. The finally tweaked everything. And the battery life and video is the best on the market
Giving the 16 series a miss sticking with 15 PM and been using Pixel 9 pro which is excellent
You can disable camera button or make it double click
Nice review, Mark. Feels like home. Loved it. Yeah, always. And Cameras… Just wow. BTW Jephson Gardens… :)
Still love my iPhone 13 mini. ❤
With you on that, I still use my iPhone 12 mini, just love the form factor
Yep me too 👍🏻
Mine started showing green lines all over the screen suddenly while charging.
Snagged a brand new one in green from the store last year, one of the last.
Love the thing. Powers through everything I need , good size and fits perfectly in my shirt pocket when needed.
The only thing missing is a decent macro lens. 👍🏼
@@fhanincik they are still really good!
In every video I like the way you start!!!!!I am in the face of switching between iphone 12 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 13.
Ah - thanks!
If you goto settings you can change camera control settings to double tap instead of one tap. Will then take away accidental pressing of it once.
Do you miss the multitasking capabilities of the Fold6? Why is that something that iOS refuses to address? Especially on something like the pro Max..
Which one?
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra or iPhone 16 Pro or both?
Just upgraded from iPhone 11 to 16 Pro Max, can’t wait for it to be delivered. Quite expensive though.
Been on both Samsung and apple flagships every year. All the spec wars miss the point. It all comes down to usability preference.
I wonder how long the camera control will stay
I like the fact that Apple increased the starting storage size to 256GB from 128GB on the Pro Max.
Waiting to get mine 16 pro max in desert titanium got an 13 pro max love this phone best iPhone Ive owned so far
How long is you wait bud
@@samabbott7771 3 weeks that one is in high demand
White titanium looks best, I think. Don't regret your choice!
It’s fine if you can afford to chop and change. I think Apple will introduce Ai to the 15 and the 14 after the 16 has faded a bit.
There’ll be a subset that says you are biased because you are saying the iPhone drives engagement. For me, the disclosure is refreshing.
Yep, I'm sure they're will. And they're bang on!
It's a really really good phone guys the iPhone 16 pro max....compared to the 14 Pro max...including incredible speaker sound....
