- Hathras Bhole Baba | Self-styled godman Suraj Pal Singh, known as Bhole Baba, is under scrutiny for his amassed ₹100 crore wealth amid a stampede investigation that caused 123 deaths at a 'Satsang' in Hathras on July 2. Despite no public appearances since, followers welcomed him with flower petals at his luxurious ashram. Bhole Baba, owning extensive assets and luxury cars, claims not to accept donations, contradicting donor names on ashram walls.
