The LPIC guide lacks a bit of explanation about certain things that you have to look up on your own. For example the whole concept of BIOS/UEFI in their explanation was really bad, I had to search around for how each one worked for a while before I finally got it. The internet also does a poor job as well as some books.
@@techyesplc Yeah just gotta attack it harder. If you notice a lot of these tools they present are tailored towards solving problems, so it's worth for example looking up how to add in missing kernel modules (stuff on the first chapter), or just combing internet forums for problems that arise and how people go about them.
