Are the tail tidy mounting screws the same as a zx6r mounting screws? I have a leftover tst tail tidy for a zx6r that I would like to try to install I just don't want to go through the process if it doesn't fit in the end...

It's up to you where you mount it but make sure you measure out the interference between components because suspension travel can cause contact with license plate and lead to component damage.

All of the closeout components are different between the two models. One does not fit the other.

You can mount it on your exhaust muffler, that's the lowest you can mount it.
